The topic i will talk on today is very sensitive and I will love to hear your different opinions on this matter.

A 17years old girl forced a 17year old boy to sex. They are both underage for such an act and are both supposed to be purnished. BUT only the boy was purnished by the law and the girl was set free by the same law. It has become a serious matter and its even being debated on a social media group as i am writing this. Someone posted a statement, read it carefully and please tell me what you think about this:

I am not a lawyer, you're not a lawyer. But please, read with me, I want to show you something. It's a question. Please try to answer.
I'll try not to make it too long and boring.

In the Constitution.
Section 5 (sexual offences) 2006..

"5.— A female child under the age of 17 years shall not be guilty of an offence under this Act by reason only of her engaging in an act of sexual intercourse."

And section 3 of the same act makes it an offense to have have sex with children under 17.

Now the two sections can work hand in hand and conviction of a boy makes him liable for up to five years imprisonment while no penalty will be placed on the girl.

Now, this obviously discriminates between underaged boys and girls.

The judge was asked why there was a discrimination in section 5, why should boys be punished even if they're the victims and girls are the predators.

And she replied saying

"the fact that a female child under 17 could become pregnant meant that there were different medical and psychological consequences for male and female children who had sexual intercourse. This justified the discrimination."

Now, that's all.

To my questions

1: If the law agrees that the mental, biological and physical difference between men and women should make them be treated differently, WHY THEN DO FEMINISTS WANT TO BE TREATED EQUALLY?

2: ok, let us agree that women will be treated equally.
WILL THEY ACCEPT EQUALITY IN IT'S TOTALITY?

AS IN WILL THEY STOP SUCH LAWS THAT FAVOUR ONLY THEM? OR WILL THEY KEEP LYING TO THEMSELVES WHILE THEY KEEP PRACTICING CONVINIENT EQUALITY?

Lol, they think equality is only when it comes to benefits.

This statement has been giving me alot of thoughts as a lady.

This is right to be honest. In my opinion I agree with that statement and it might be shocking for a lady like me to say this but it is a true fact. Women especially the feminists are supposed to go about fighting for equal right but not only for situations that benefits them. They should also fight for equal rights also in situations that benefits both the men and the women too.

Now in the above event of the 17years old children, i really think the both of them are supposed to be purnished not just the boy. I would love to hear what you think about this. Thank you for reading and remember to always stay safe.
