I was making a research on the most seeked-for job opportunities and skills in 2020.

If you all notice, thousands of companies and jobs has sunk into the sand since the pandemic and lock down started at the beginning of the year. Many people are frustrated but if you put it to thought, you will notice that this has given some set of skills and jobs open road to success. People are starving and crying while some are happy and smiling because the lockdown has somehow added an advantage to them and their businesses. Remember the saying, "there is an advantage to every disadvantage" and it is clearly showing now.

Now with all that said, let me list 5 jobs and skills that are florishing and rising even in the lockdown.

• Graphic Designers, Design companies, UI/UX designers: Graphic design and all the designs i just mentioned has an advantage of being able to be done by online transactions, this means that even the lockdown and the pandemic can not stop these set of people from making millions of naira from their profession. Nowadays, companies both big companies, medium and small companies run to these designers to design beautiful fliers and advert posts they can use in advertising their products onlines on the internet and on social media. People who are good at designing tends to receive more jobs offers and job opportunities than any other profession in the world at this 2020.

• Web designers: These can also be classified as a list of a graphic designer's job but it has very large differences from graphic design itself. If you are a graphic designer, you are supposed to be able to know how to design a web, its an added advantage but not all graphic designers can actually design a web. Web designers are also one of the set of people that would be smiling with full white 32teeth at this time of pandemic. Web is also a job where the transactions can be done online. No need of physical contacts with the client. Even companies especially the medium and small companies tend to run to these web designers to create and design a website for their businesses since everything happening now are all online. Our world, the planet Earth is in the internet as of now because almost everything business is happening on the internet. The demand for websites by companies are very high and still rising.

• Writing: Writers are also among the set of people making huge sums of cash daily, weekly and monthly in this pandemic period. I have a friend who is being paid for writing stories and novels. Each novel whether short or long he writes, he gets paid $120 to $200 per novel. This is very manageable. Not everyone can boast of even $50 at this time of pandemic. There are also companies round the world that hires writers to write emails, social media contents and adverts for them on their websites and they pay high for these tasks. There are so many video content creators making huge amounts of cash at this period. Am pretty sure YouTubers are smiling so wide at this pandemic.

• Traders(forex and crypto currencies): This is the last set of people I think are making thousands and millions of dollars at this time of pandemic and lockdown. Let me use forex as an example. You all must have heard of forex trading one way or the other. Most of you might even already be traders of different assets. Forex is a platform that pays you for predicting the future prices of assets like Oil, currencies like USD, crypto currencies like Bitcoin and lots more. Forex trading involves alot of patience, knowledge, skills, and competence to be a successful forex trader. Greed is one of the huge factor that has brought so many forex traders from the top to the floor. Also, successful traders make nothing less than $50 a day and upto $1000 or more a month. They are all living a happy life.
