Dreaming and working for a better tomorrow.

The desire to want the best out of every situation or association is inherent in every human. Enjoyment, everlasting happiness, endless joy, stress-free life, you name it! Humans have a strong aversion towards suffering but since we know not of way to be totally free from it, we develop a resistance towards it and when it is obvious that we can't resist further, we endure, making ourselves believe "better days are yet to come". Sometimes this thing we call "hope" is only used as a coping mechanism to get through this world full of suffering.

Countless number of practices have sprang over time, preaching the endurance of trials and tribulations in hope for a better place when the temporary world is all over. This place is called "heaven" or "everlasting bliss" or "Nirvana" according to the religion or practice. They promise those who adhere to the practices of a certain group heaven, and since each and everyone of those groups believe that they are on the right path, meaning they are the only ones who will reside in the eternal heavenly abode, they look down on other religious groups and develop a sort of hatred towards them. This can go as far as being a cause of riots and a lot of bloodshed. Why does the promise of heaven have to make you create more hell on earth? Perhaps creating more hell on earth serves as a purgatory for the cleansing of souls before getting admitted into heaven? I don't just get it no matter how hard I try to wrap my head around it.

What many people do not understand is, even if there's truly a heaven out there somewhere, isn't it only logical to think that a glimpse of it can be found here on earth? Why shut your eyes and ears by doing stupid things in the name of a heaven that you aren't even sure you will reside in later on? Yes. There's heaven on earth too. If there isn't heaven on earth and have to wait till I die before meeting heaven, I have no reason to believe that there's a heaven at all.

You're in heaven when you don't hate. You know what hatred does? It robs you of your peace of mind which is a very necessary thing to have if you must tap into the heaven on earth. You're in heaven when you love and help without restrictions and expectations. When you expect, you're already in a hell which will definitely consume you when those needs of yours aren't met. When you love and help people without restrictions, you not only live in heaven, you're also taking others along with you to that earthly heaven with your love and help. Gain insight and see past your egoistic desires, unveil the facade of your thoughts, your emotions and the illusion of the ego, there you will realize that heaven has been waiting for you all this while, then you will truly live.

Life is indeed worth living and loving. You don't have to wait before you die before you go to heaven because you can't be so sure you will get there. Listen, if you believe in a religion I bet you've been told that a person only gets into heaven by the mercy of God. So if you are devoid of God's mercy even when your "good deeds" equals the size of mountain everest, you're going nowhere. Dear religious people, what do you think God is trying to tell you? It simply means that you shouldn't raise yourself so high that you that you think you're the only one going to heaven and everyone else is going to hell. If this is how you think then I am sorry but you're already in hell and if you don't dead that thought, that could be your final abode.

Tap into the heaven that's here on earth and you shall find everywhere you go, even after death...
