An inner devil, in my opinion, is anything that causes you to become irate or agitated. A preconceived notion or an event that has happened to us can drive us to react in a certain way when confronted with a new situation. It's either a reaction we've trained ourselves to have when someone brings up a controversial topic, or it's a spontaneous outburst in response to the demon making its appearance. External stimuli can trigger internal demons, which are programmed or coerced responses to them.

The name "inner demons" comes from the fact that they tend to be constrictive and/or depressing (negative). What appears to be a simple concept to others may be difficult for you to cope with on your own if you try to work around, manifest past, or even just be alone with the concept. Many people battle their demons, but only a few succeed. Because the battle is fought completely in the mind, it is always something that the individual must understand and heal on their own. No matter how many people tell us we're on the right track, we're going to have to do it all ourselves.

A more positive internal dialogue and greater ability to deal with life's inevitable challenges can be seen when we vanquish our demons. It doesn't matter where you end up in society if your devil is in charge of your thoughts and feelings. Whether you're rich or poor, your inner demons aren't always easy to see. For those who spend enough time with someone, their demons may change how they act, turning them into a person you don't recognize for no apparent reason.

Criticism, self-doubt, and negative thought patterns feed our inner demons, which in turn feed our demons. Self-talk and negative ideas are examples of inner demons, but they are not always present. As a child, it might have been something our parents told us, or a stinging critique from a coworker or a friend.

In psychoanalysis, the inner critic is referred to as the "superego."

Throughout the day, we are subjected to the nagging voices of the superego, which tell us what we can and cannot do. The superego, according to Freud, is a manifestation of our internalization of social norms, most of which are learned through our parents.

The first step to conquering your inner demons is to understand how your brain works. Not at all. They'll always be there to serve as constant reminders of your transgressions. Your inner demons don't have to influence your actions or reactions, thus you acquire power by becoming aware of this fact
