Protein Rich Foods Suitable For Vegetarians

By restraining from eating meat, vegetarians are at the risk of improper growth, development, regeneration of their bodies, and improper production of hormones.

Protein is a macronutrient whose deficiency can end tragically, therefore, I am devoting this article to a simple list of protein-rich foods that are suitable for the diets of vegetarians. Vegetarians may also go back to my previous two articles about protein-rich foods, in order to find lists of seeds, nuts, vegetables, and fruits that are rich in protein!

The following list consists of healthy foods, that contain all essential amino acids:

01) With 20 grams of protein on average, firm tofu is holding the top of our list. To be precise, soft tofu contains 18g of protein per 100g (on average), medium tofu is at 20g, while fermented tofu reaches up to 35 grams!

02) Cottage cheese is my favorite type of cheese because some types contain 0% carbohydrates (0% sugar), 1% of fat, and over 15 grams of protein! It is very cheap, and delicious!

03) Low-fat yogurt is a refreshing drink that contains over 5 grams of protein on average!

04) All seeds and nuts I included in my previous article are unquestionably the greatest natural protein source people can consume.

05) Fruits and vegetables that can be found in the first article about protein-rich foods are also a great source of this essential macronutrient. Beans and pumpkins are by far the tastiest protein-rich vegetables!

Hint: try baked pumpkin, but do not add any salt, pepper, nor sugar to it! It is delicious!
