Why does God test us?

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And He is the One Who laughs and He is the One Who weeps. He is the One who saves and He gives death. ” An-Najm: 43-44.

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And if Allaah wants to harm you, then there is no one to remove it except Him. And if Allah wants to do you any good, then there is no one who can take away His grace. ” Surah Yunus: 108.

The sixth pillar of faith is: "Wal Qadri Khairihi wa Sharrihi", meaning whatever is good or bad in our life, it is determined by Allah.

Whether a person is a believer or a disbeliever, whether he is a virtuous person or a sinful servant, there are some dangers in everyone's life. But the question is, even though we dislike it, why do we have such dangers in our lives? Or, why does God test us?

The great wisdom of Allah behind putting us to the test is briefly described below.

(1) Testing people:

To know who is a believer and who is a hypocrite, who is truthful and who is a liar. Hypocrites and people of weak faith often remember Allah in times of happiness, are loyal and satisfied with Him. But when calamity befalls them, they forget Allah, disbelieve in Him, or are displeased with Him. Again, the opposite is often the case. When a calamity befalls, many disbelieving polytheists are also seen praying to Allah in their hearts. And when Allah rescues him from distress, he forgets Allah, denies His blessings and shows arrogance, saying that he deserved so much or that he achieved it by his own merits. Sometimes he associates himself with Allah and thinks that someone other than Allah is the cause of his deliverance from danger. There is a detailed discussion of all these issues in the Qur'an, not all the verses have been given for fear of making the writing bigger.

To test these things, that is, to test those who sincerely or sincerely believe in God, God tests His servants.

Allah says, "Do people think that by saying, 'We believe,' they will be spared, and they will not be tested?" I have certainly tested those before them. And Allah will surely know those who are truthful and those who are liars. Surah Ankabut, verses 2-3.

Elsewhere, Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “Some people worship Allaah out of hesitation. If he is blessed, then he remains steadfast in worship. And if he falls into a test, he goes back to his former state (in disbelief). Such a person is the loser in this world and in the Hereafter, that is the obvious loss. Surah Hajj: 11.

(2) The slightest punishment for sin in this world, so that the servant may return to God and try to save himself from the severe punishment of the Hereafter. Many times people believe in Allah, but due to the weakness of faith, they fall prey to the greed of the worldly life or fall into the delusion of Satan and disobey Allah. God then makes that servant helpless with calamities. That he may remember the punishment of the Hereafter, and that he may return to GOD.

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): "I will make them taste a light torment before a severe torment, so that they may return (to Me)." Surah Sajdah: 21.

In this verse, "light punishment" refers to the dangers, sorrows, pains, sorrows, etc. of the worldly life. In addition, Sunan Nasai, light punishment means famine. Taken from Tafsir Ibn Kathir.

(3) In addition, Allah puts some of His beloved servants to the test with danger, so that in the Hereafter they may increase their dignity and the blessings of Paradise. Many times Allah wants to give a high status to one of His beloved servants in the Hereafter, but that servant is not qualified to achieve that status by his deeds. Then Allah put him to the test. If that servant is patient about this test of Allah, then Allah gives him that high status.

Now let's come to some personal issues.

When we ourselves are in danger, we become sinners and righteous, none of us can say for sure why God has put us in danger. Is it a test for us, or is it a punishment for our sins? So we will never ask this question when we are in danger, oh God! Did I sin? And even if I do, it's useless. Because, no matter how good we are, none of us is sinless. We are committing innumerable sins day and night without knowing it. So we will not question whether I have sinned. Nor will we despair of God's test. But we must be careful to repent and correct the mistakes of the past and to make the future life more beautiful. And that is the purpose of God Almighty, to test us and correct us. We will not be disappointed or think that our danger is the biggest.

If we look at the life of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, it will be the best example for us. Despite being the best of all human beings from the past to the future, what did Allah, whom the Qur'an calls "Rahmatullah Alameen", or mercy for the worlds, have to go through as a human being?

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) narrated some of the hardships that he had to go through.

(1) He lost his three daughters and two sons in his lifetime. How many of us have lost five children? Didn't he love his sons and daughters? How much pain did he have to see each child die?

(2) The cruel behavior of the infidels and polytheists in the field of Taif is known to all. The blood flowed from his head to his shoes. He was also wounded in the battle of Uhud. The armor of the enemy broke the armor of his head and a piece of iron went into his head, breaking one of his teeth.

(3) How much trouble did the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) have to go through when he was slandered by the hypocrites against his beloved wife, Aisha (may Allaah be pleased with her)? He could not even say anything to the hypocrites, nor could he prove the sanctity of his wife. Until the proclamation of the sanctity of Mother Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) through the revelation of the verses of the Qur'an, she had to go through inhuman trouble as a tender husband.

(4) He was kept in solitary confinement in a cave for two consecutive years. He had to spend his days in inhuman hardships with his wife and children eating grass and herbs.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was once asked, 'Who among the people is most at risk?' He replied, "Prophets, and then Allah tests the one whom He loves the most."

So, when we are in danger, it is important for us to believe that God loves me even though I am a sinner. And for this he wants to correct me by putting me in danger, so that in the Hereafter, which is our true address, He will give us a life of eternal happiness. May Allah grant me and all of you the Tawfiq to walk on the right path. Make our world and the Hereafter easy and beautiful, Amen.

Does the door change people's destiny?

(72) Is it possible to change what was written in the destiny of man before creation through the door?

Answer: There is no doubt that the door has the effect of changing the writing of destiny. However, it is important to know that this change has already been written that the destiny of such and such will be changed through the door. Don't think that you are praying for a change in your destiny. So pray, it is also written from the east. And what will be achieved through the door is also written. This is why we see that when the patient is scrubbed, the patient recovers. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) sent a group of soldiers to one side or the other. There they came as guests to a disbelieving tribe, but the people of the tribe refused to entertain them. At night the leader of that tribe was bitten by a poisonous snake. Kabiraj was searched for him. But no Kabiraj was found. Eventually the people came to the Companions and searched for Kabiraj. One of the disciples said, "I agree to blow the trumpet, but I have to pay for it." When they agreed to give one hundred goats in exchange for blowing the trumpet, the Companions recited Surah Al-Fatihah to the patient. As a result, the patient recovered in such a way that it seemed as if the rope had been untied.

It is seen from that hadith that scrubbing is effective enough to cure diseases. Similarly, the door has an effect. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “Some people cannot change their destiny (or destiny) without dua, and some people cannot increase their life without good behavior. And because of human sins, he is deprived of sustenance. ” Sunan Ibn Majah, Mishkat: 4925.

But the door does not change destiny; Rather, it is also written in the destiny that the person will pray, then his destiny will be changed. Everything happens according to the writing of destiny.

Shaykh Muhammad bin Saleh Al-Othaimeen Rahi'mahullah has answered the question, Iman chapter of the book "Fatwa Arkanul Islam".

Who will get married or not, when will it happen, where will it happen, with whom will it happen, everything is controlled by Allah the Almighty.

Are sustenance and marriage written in Laohe Mahfuz?

All the creatures that will be created from the day when Allah created the heavens and the earth to the Day of Resurrection are recorded in Laohe Mahfuz. Allaah created the pen and said, “O pen! You write. ” The pen said, O my Lord! What should I write? Allaah said, "Write down everything that will happen until the Day of Resurrection." At that time, whatever will happen on the earth till the Day of Resurrection, the pen wrote everything down. Musnad Ahmad.

It has been narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in a saheeh source that Allaah sent an angel after the fetus had been in the womb for four months. The angel breathes his soul into him and writes down his sustenance, age and his deeds i.e. will be lucky or unlucky. The sustenance is written and how to achieve it is also written. Along with the search for sustenance, the materials for seeking sustenance are also recorded.

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And He has made the earth easy for you, so move about in it and eat of that which He has provided for you. To Him is the resurrection. ” Surah Mulk: 15.

One of the means of gaining and increasing Rizik is to be honest with one's parents and to maintain kinship. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, "Whoever wants his sustenance to be increased and his age to be increased, let him maintain kinship." Sahih Muslim: Al-Bir Was-Silah.

Another means of increasing sustenance is taqwa or fear of Allah. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And whoever fears Allaah, He will make for him a way out, and will provide for him from a place beyond his comprehension.” Surah Talaq: 2-3.

It cannot be said that since sustenance is prescribed, so I will not search for its ingredients, it is the identity of foolishness. The identity of the wise is to strive for sustenance and for the welfare of the religion and the world. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “The wise person is the one who takes account of himself and acts for the Hereafter. The one who is incapable and foolish is the one who follows his own evil inclinations and relies on Allah. ” Tirmidhi, Chapter: Kitabu Sifatil Qiyamah.

Rizik is destined to marry someone just as it is written. Who will be the husband or wife in this world is also certain. Allaah says, "Nothing in the heavens and the earth is hidden from Allaah." Surah Ale-Imran: 5.

Shaykh Muzammil's beautiful and instructive words about faith in Taqwadir

It is mentioned in the hadith of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, that Allah sent angels to someone at the beginning of creation and wrote down four decisions for him; His life (life), deeds (work), sustenance, happiness or unrest. Yes, God's judgment does not mean that you cannot change it by God's will. And even if he has fixed the sustenance, life and work, if the servant does not seek sustenance, he will not come to him on foot, if he does not work, it will not be done. If someone puts a knife to his throat, or jumps into the fire, his life will not be complete. So, God's judgment does not mean that the servant has to do nothing. Nor is it that anyone can go beyond the written judgment of Allah if he wishes.
