Do you also have a habit to do multiple tasks at the same time? If so this is not a good thing. This only reduces the efficiency of your brain to think clearly on a single aspect and ultimately you start forgetting. The focus on a single topic at a time is important. If you don't have a habit to focus on one aspect don't worry about it. It is a skill that can be learned with time.

Pros of multitasking

1) Minimize overthinking

You overthink when You are free and have nothing to do and start worrying about minor aspects of life. But everyone knows that worrying about a topic is not a solution to that problem. Focusing on multiple tasks at a time keeps you safe from that specific worry and you will have no time to think about any topic.

2) To forget someone

We are human and tragedies can happen to anyone. You can say bad phases of life. Suppose you lost or broke with a close one and you can't over with it. Difficult for you to forget that person. Yes, it's a big loss but time changes worry changes. According to Darwin's Theory of Evolution:

'Decent with the modifications'

It's better to charge or forget someone with time because it's better for you and the next generations. This could be possible by multitasking when you will be busy with many things the whole day and have no time to think. gradually you will out of it.

3) Exploring a new career

Multitasking widens your brain limit you will be able to explore new skills which will help you to find out what's best for you. Because you are trying and surely will get the way toward your dream job or destination that is for you.

Cons of multitasking

If you analyze more clearly will come to know that multitasking has disadvantages compared to advantages

1)Reduce brian Efficiency

You can be able to get good results by focusing on multiple topics at a time. Our brains have the power to focus on a single topic at a time. Imagine you drinking tea, chit chat with family, watching the news on the screen, and reading a book at the same time. What will be the outcomes of that study? Nothing!

2) Can't think clearly

The single task, road map, and being on track towards the milestone is important. Multitasking will not give you good results. Your whole concentration deserves that aspect rather much. It's better to master one skill instead of learning all skills in a small proportion.

3) Increase stress level

Performing multiple tasks at the same time increase stress level only. Because you have collected huge knowledge of many industries but master of none. If you will specify your task at the start situation will be in your favor and you will remain safe from stress.

4) Mental illness

Continuous involvement in many tasks at a time leads to Alzheimer's disease (in which people forget things), and Parkinson's disease. The brain became overloaded because of task performance multiple tasks cause mental illness.

Closing thoughts

You should perform a single task at a time which will prove helpful for physical and mental health according to your mental capabilities. Focus on many topics increases stress levels only, causing illness. When you try to perform many task at a time your brain power curve begin to come down results in many issues.
