Midterm exams about to start
The time passes so quickly, we haven't enough time. Let me give my example. It's the last year of my bachelor's degree at my university and felt like just a few months ago I got admission there, half of the degree is gone in the online system of education during the pandemic. Honestly, if someone asks us whether we want to study online or on-campus many students will say, Online is a better choice comparatively.
After studying for almost two years online we are addicted to virtual education more than physical mode (it takes more effort, get up early, prepare for university, hectic routine, I will avoid travel in university buses which are full of students and no more space to stand in the bus also suffocation.
I experienced all these in this 7th semester, I have to go 3-days university to attend physical classes, Thursday & Friday online and two holidays of weekend.
My first lecture on Monday starts at 1 pm. My classes are the second time, in hot weather I move towards and return to the university. The normal temperature in the area during summer is 40°C plus, sometimes even cross 45°. But we have now a habit of living and surviving there.
Monday and Wednesday were the two most difficult days, On Monday it was difficult to get up early morning, on Wednesday (the last on-campus day) there was a survival of the fittest for Seats on the bus stand for a seat. Students of my routine have to struggle for seats, the home is 40 kilometers from the university and no one will want to travel by standing.
Yesterday, an instuctor told us that the mid-term exams are starting from the 18th of April but last night CR texted in class announcement group that the exam are can start of the 11th of April, so prepare your mind accordingly. But in the morning CR texted again that the exams are starting from the 18th of April.
Some CR of the department suggested DSA arrange mid-term exams should arrange after Ramadan, because it's difficult for the students to cover all the syllabus in the hot Summer while keeping a Fast. Some suggested 11th April is also fine to start exams, their point of view was that the teachers in this way can't give more syllabus and its easy for us to cover.
Mostly CRs are agreed on the 18th of April, which is the final for the exams. Now, the major task is to do well in the mid-term, I have chosen organic chemistry for my specialization, and the syllabus is huge and piled up. I even don't know the contents of some course codes.
These exams are a big challenge for me right now, I have to make a schedule and follow it for the preparation. Teachers are still delivering lectures, todays I attend three online lectures of Organic 1 spectroscopy, Organic 3 alkaloids and organic 2 reactive intermediates. I m surprised to see, what teachers are teaching they are including in the syllabus, instead of making it short they are extending the burden.
Anyways, wish me good luck with exams, See you soon guys.
Time for heavy grinding bro, all the best for your exams.
