Sunday’s Reminder: You don’t have to understand everything
John 13:7 **You don't understand now what I am doing, but someday you will.** Human as we are, we cannot just let things pass by or happen without questioning it or asking every detail about it. Just like children who are very curious in everything they see the adults are doing, we also want to know every reason behind every circumstances and situation we are facing. We could not just sit there and accept everything. No, it doesn’t happen that way. Asking the what, when, why, where and how is the usual things we do in order to get the answers we want. Of course, we all wanted to be enlightened and not look dumb. And I do understand that, because me myself exactly has that mindset. Nevertheless, we often forget that God’s way of doing things in our life doesn’t work that way. God doesn’t think the way we think and definitely not work the way we do. Whenever something happens to our lives or face circumstances that we didn’t see coming, we always ask God and demand for His answers. But whenever we fail to receive the answers we want, we start doubting Him and His capacity. We tend to discredit God completely. I was an incoming first year college back then, when me and my two bestfriends tried to enroll in one of the state universities in our city. But before you can enroll in that university, you have to pass their entrance exam in order to study freely without thinking about the tuition fees. Luckily, I passed the entrance exam but seems like luck isn’t on the side of my two bestfriends. That caused us to separate and study in different universities. I was so devastated and disappointed that moment and was even planning to stop studying. I don’t wanna be away from them that time and I started questioning God about it. I doubted His plan for me and instead of being grateful for the opportunity that He has given to me; I even have the guts to question His plans. I don’t understand Him that time. All I can see is that He is being unfair. Years have passed and slowly, I started to see why God allowed those things to happen. Why He allowed us to get separated. I’ve witnessed how the three of us grow and become independent. We met different kind of people and found new circle of friends. We all excel in different areas. And from looking back then, I am glad that it happened. Sometimes, God will allow things to happen in our lives for our own sake and goodness. Maybe, there will be a lot of times that we would never understand the reason behind it. There are times that God will work in ways that will leave us puzzled. However, let us always remember that we shouldn’t force ourselves to understand everything. Some things are better left undiscovered, because when the time is right, it will just slowly unfold. On the other side of our why me, I don’t understand, what now, and millions of questions is the greatest gift of God. If God will let us understand all things, then we will no longer trust Him. Sometimes, we have to face uncertainties in order to develop faith. Always remember that no matter how messy our life may get, even if we don’t get to understand things, never forget that amidst of all the chaos, is a God who is always in control. And we can rest with that. Learn to let go of the things that God didn’t give to us in order to enjoy the things that are really meant for us. *You don’t have to understand everything, sometimes all we have to do is trust the heart of God.* Heyaaaa! Thanks for reading. God bless you. Lead image is mine.

Good one! Sometimes, it's good to not ask questions, just listen closely to the murmurs of our soul. Let go and Let God so they say.
Ameen!
When you question too much, you don't always get the answers. I just go with my heart and the flow.
Yees. Just let things be.
Some things are better left undiscovered, because when the time is right, it will just slowly unfold. 👌 True
❤
We are too blinded by negativities and focus on things we don't have. That's why we forget to be thankful of God's blessings he pours us everyday.
I couldn't agree more ❤. Thanks for dropping by pooo.
What you do not know cannot hurt you. God is leading you the way and you must trust in Him.
Exactly ❤ thanks for dropping by ❤
Ganyan din ako minsan, basta may hindi umayon sa gusto ko, eqquestion na agad Siya. Yong parang lahat nalang gusto sa kanya isisi. Di ko alam na baka kaya nangyari ee para turuan lang ng aral ganon.
Yes, sometimes kasi we are so occupied sa pag wo worry kung bakit ganito, ganyan. That we often forget God's reason begind those things.
Kaya nga, imbes na mag find ng solution no. Kelangan talaga may ebeblame muna sila aguy
There's a church song that have this lyrics "Though in my heart, I have questions, even failed to believe, yet He's been faithful, faithful to me. "Our Lord is always faithful in his promises.
Amen! His promises are yes and amen!
Very true. God sees the whole picture whereas we only see a corner of the canvas at best. Sometimes, not even that. We see the messy painter's pallet instead of the completed picture that God sees.
Trueee. There is always a bigger picture.
That 3rd paragraph hit me. I am so guilty. I used to question Him with everything before. But eventually I know that everything happens for a reason. There is a purpose. Whatever the reason or purpose it was, He's the only one who knows. 😇
