A Pre-requisite is something that must exist or happen or be done . In this case therefore , good foundation is a solid background that must be present on which further growth would rest. When this is done , it allows for many things to take place , including, transformation. A country that is serious of reaching its pinnacle must have a solid foundation.

Foundation is sine qua non to perfect ingredients which a soup must have to command a good taste.

In the first instance , Good leadership is like a good cook preparing a soup for eating. Even if a country is having all ingredients for National planning and eventual development , without a good leader , everything would be a big mess -up. A good leader is expected to coordinate all policies of government to arrive at a good decision that must be beneficial to the overall good of a country.

A country without necessary infrastructure on ground cannot be said to have a very good foundation. Transportation is a key to National development. In this sector , railway lines are needed to be laid for easy transportation in and around the country. Road network is also very necessary to boost internal trade. Airports both domestic and international are highly needed to fast track movement of people in and around the country. International Airports , if well-managed can go along way to rake in scarce foreign exchange for the betterment of the country.

Education is very important too. Education must be developed fully. A country that refuses to fully develop its educational sector effectively and efficiently is never a serious country. Any country in this category need not be giving a pride of place amongst the comity of Nations.

As a follow up to the above , Agriculture needs to be fully developed to serve as source of raw materials to our ailing Industries. Industrial revolution needs revolution in Agriculture for the country to get transformed totally.

A combination of these factors is needed to be blended together for a country to solve plethora of problems confronting it.

Youth unemployment is needed to be confronted headlong for a country to be transformed totally. A country that is unable to solve this is not transformed.
