Culture:- Once upon a time... Hello everyone Wednesday is over here already, the week is going fast already and valentine is coming😂😂, some people have taken that day as holiday, but people like me will be in class asides that I see it as a normal day, show love to anyone you want to whether single or in a relationship.😂 I am from Kogi State, which is in Nigeria's north central region. People often ask if I am Yoruba or Hausa; I am Yoruba, but my state also has Hausa's. The name "kogi" comes from a Hausa word that means river; two rivers, the Niger and the Benue, meet at kogi. I'm from IFFE - IJUMU, and in Kogi, we have three main tribes: Igala, Ebira, and Okun. I've heard the Ebira people are both wicked and fine(Doesn't mean its true). Everyone was around over the holiday season last year, so we were talking, and my father began telling us about our hometown because he was complaining that we couldn't speak our dialect, so he began telling us about our homeland and its culture. Please check out my sponsors For marriage, they used to have clans, which I can't recall the names of, but he mentioned the OYE clan, which is where I belong, ***and we couldn't marry someone from the same clan; we had to marry someone from outside the clan***. It is also customary that when someone wants to marry, the eldest of the clan anchors the ceremony, and the dowry is distributed according to clan rank, with everyone collecting a piece of the money, even if it is only 100 naira. The purpose of sharing it with the family is to bring marriage blessings. He also discussed the conflicts that occurred at the time, stating that they had a cave they used to hide in when the war broke out, and that there was a very large stone that, once pushed, could kill anyone attempting to ascend the mountain, and that there was something they used to warn them. He also mentioned a woman who rescued them by climbing the mountain, removing her cloth, and rolling the stone, which killed all of the assailants. That is why women are not permitted to leave the house when they are holding a festival in her honor. He also discussed the sacrifices his forefathers made before the arrival of other religions, stating that they would place a calabash outside and bow to it, as well as pray to it, and that it worked for them because they strongly believed in it; he also stated that some people still worship it today. There's a lot more I can't recall, and I'm sure I wasn't able to go into depth because the narrative was so long that day. ***Our culture is beautiful, and we should not let it die because there is so much history behind it. It has been a while since I visited my village, but I am confident that I will return.*** Thank you for reading.💚

Pressure:- How do you apply it? Hey guys😊 Its been a while, rain fell on Saturday I think and I didn't notice because literally Lagos is hot and my room now is like an oven. I don't know why I have been deceiving myself, I went home thinking I will be able to do small work, I ended up bringing it back and now its a new week, feeling reluctant to even do any work, till tomorrow. My roommates and i,We were just talking about modeling the other night and advising someone to become a model, and one of us said it hasn't been easy for her because she keeps applying and going to interviews and they don't pick her, and she noticed it was mostly light skinned girls they picked, so she wanted to change her skin and everything to fit in, and I could totally relate with her because most times in the country you need to have an upper hand to get something done, Then another of us said nothing in the world could make her feel constrained or compelled to do something. I won't say I blame the other person for wanting to change her skin color because I know how it feels when you've worked so hard and everything just seems to be falling apart for you. She noticed they mostly pick light skinned girls, which made her feel bad about herself because she might have needed the job to support herself. I can also remember a time when they only accepted skinny people for modeling, and so many people tried to lose weight and do everything to get picked, but it didn't work out for them. I've also seen videos of top models who were under pressure to lose weight, and they were telling their stories of how they were mistreated by their agencies at times, all in the name of looking flawless. I understand that it is a model's duty to appear flawless on camera, but I don't believe anyone should be put under so much pressure to the point of breaking. When I'm under pressure, I can't operate properly and wind up doing crap, whether it's cooking, reading, or anything else. Some even feel pressured to get married and all. Yes, sometimes things might not go well and you want to find a solution as soon as possible; in that process, you'll want to do everything to improve matters; ***all I can say is don't feel pressured to do anything that might cost you doing something extreme like a surgery or so; instead, keep working and praying.*** Please check out my sponsors Applying pressure can be beneficial if it is used correctly. If you are attempting to achieve a certain level, whether at school or at work, you are aware that the pressure you are applying is hard work. Some people say NO PRESSURE, NO DIAMOND. ***You don't have to choose to put more pressure on yourself because the world already puts enough on you. Instead, appreciate how you grow and learn at your own pace.*** Thank you for taking the time to read this.💚

Life happens... Hey guys😊 Its February 3rd, I know its been a while been very busy with school work and also not been feeling okay too. One thing I know I always do is to fight sickness because I don't like falling sick cause I know i will loose weight and all, but I guess the thing is when you don't feel too good treat it fast or first before it gets worse and also try to rest, cause if you don't rest your body will rest for you. Honestly, I'm still not sure what I want to talk about, but I'm getting there. I was watching a video on YouTube about this famous tiktoker Charlie D'amelio, she has the highest followers on tiktok and she's only 17 years old , and she was just getting used to fame at that time cause she rose to fame during lockdown, so she and her sister posted a video about how she's been dealing with it, she's had anxiety attacks, all those negative comments from people get to her, every statement she makes matters because people are watching, She was crying in the video because of something someone said about her, and this is only one of thousands of negative comments she receives every day, and you can imagine how difficult it is for her to deal with it. Please check out my sponsors ***There's a saying that goes, "Everything will be fine," and while I believe that, what I want to discuss is the struggles people face before becoming fine.*** Yes, it is simpler to soothe or say something, but believe me when I say that waiting for that life or breakthrough is quite difficult. How can you expect someone who hasn't eaten in hours, has no source of income, and is most likely sleeping on the streets not to worry about or feel depressed about his situation? The one which is depressing is someone who is struggling every day, seeking for jobs, managing the little he has with little or no aid from friends and likely no one to even share his issues with, and we will still tell you everything will be fine. Everything will be OK, but first there will be a battle, anguish, and cries, and some will even end their lives in the process. I know it's going to be difficult, but God is in control, and I don't have a solution for what should be done. In that YouTube video, Charlie wanted to help people with mental health issues, but she didn't have a solution, so she just shared about her life and hoped people could figure it out from there. Similar to this post, the issue is present, but there is no genuine solution. While consoling words can assist, I don't believe they can completely alleviate the person's sorrow or struggle. But I can only give hope, I pray we all cross that bridge that will take us to out of all our struggles. Thank you for taking the time to read this.💚

Put your faith in God Hello everyone, and happy Sunday😊 I hope you are not affected by the dry weather, because virtually everyone has a cold and a sore throat, but all is good. I am grateful to God for this month; it seemed to fly by for me, perhaps because I was so busy. Tomorrow is the last day of the month, and the year is gradually going. I'll tell you a quick story. On a Saturday, a certain girl in the hostel had only 500naira ($1) with her and had called home but no money, she didn't even know how she was going to eat that night, when out of nowhere, a longtime friend from her school came to visit and brought food for her to eat, and another of her roommates who doesn't cook decided to cook that day and gave her to eat. She didn't even tell her friend or roommate about her situation, but God provided for her, and it was also because she had faith and thought God wouldn't let her go hungry. Faith is the substance of what is hoped for and the evidence of what is not seen. It's difficult to believe something you haven't seen or experienced, let alone a miracle, because even a small bit of faith may accomplish a lot, as they say if you have the faith of a mustard seed, you can move mountains. Please check out my sponsors In this regard, I like my father greatly; he always has a good attitude and thinks positively that God will provide; he may not have it at that moment, but when you hear him talk about something, you will think he owns a lot, and things have been falling into place for him as a result. My pastor preached today in church about giving and sowing seeds, as well as testimonies of how God has provided for him and continues to provide for him because of he gives. He also pushed us to give; one thing I noticed is your belief; if you do something and don't believe in it, it's as if you're wasting your time; you won't receive any positive results. Most of the time, aside from not believing in God, we tend to doubt ourselves as well. **After trusting God, we begin to wonder, "Can I really do this?" , how are you going to make it work? And a alot of other concerns**. Of course, it's not easy, especially when you're going through a lot, but who else can you trust if not God? Because man will undoubtedly let you down. If you put your trust in God, amazing things will happen in your life. Amen, I pray that this week favors and blesses us. Thank you for taking the time to read this.💚

Change is constant Hey guys😊 Is it just my imagination or do the days seem to fly by, especially at night? By the time I close and open my eyes at 6 pm, it's already the next day. It feels like I haven't accomplished much or even had enough time for myself except on weekends, which is now the only time I have to catch up on schoolwork. Apart from the fact that I haven't been in the mood to write, I am delighted I can now. I'll just leave this here. According to physics and regular human life, ***change is constant and unavoidable*** . As we mature as people, we are intended to go through changes. I'll admit that when I was younger, I was more open and I played more, but I can think of a lot of things that I stopped doing as I grew older or as I lost interest in them. When a child becomes a teenager, he or she becomes reticent and always wants to be left alone, and all of this is part of the changes that come with becoming a teenager. ***Please check out my sponsors*** I recall being more carefree about things in junior secondary school, being more open and all, but as I transitioned to senior secondary school, I got more concerned of things, how I acted, how I dressed, and all. It's just a part of the process. After interacting with a lot of people at school, when it came time for us to part, I imagined we'd stay in touch forever, even though I realized we'd probably never see each other again. After we all went to university, just a few of us maintained in touch, and a lot of things happened; we all grew up and began our adult lives. Few of us have graduated now, and things have changed. **I wasn't used to the changes at first, and I really wanted to stay friends with everyone, but life intervened**. There are sometimes we try to change people like who they are to try to fit or suit how we want them to be or vice versa. I have seen people try to change so they can fit into a particular setting or to be accepted by people. There's no need to change people to fit your needs so far that person is on the right part, someone will surely like you for who you are. Similar to how we lose and gain friends as we grow and evolve in life, we also go through bodily changes, become more responsible, and so on. You can change for the better or for the worse depending on what has changed you, but the best thing to do is to change for the better and you could be the change too. ***Change is difficult at first, messy in the middle, and beautiful in the end.*** Thank you for taking the time to read this.💚 Have a fantastic weekend!😊

Cut your coat according to your size Good day, everyone😊 Today wasn't too bad, but I was a little uneasy and tired at times. I spent the majority of the day in class, and when I got back to my hostel, my roommate said, "They don't want to release you ni." Although January appears to be one of the longest months, it is already the 25th, and the year is progressing. I just want to put this out there that **the that situation you are crying about is what another person is praying for**. My roommates and I were conversing as normal when we got to talking about family issues and struggles, and when I heard some of theirs, I thought to myself, "I constantly complain about something, and some even wishing for it." Everything will fall into place if you are grateful and live your life. I had no idea what to write about at first, but eventually I came up with something. There are moments when we are short of cash (broke) in fact that's the time you start craving different sorts of food and you know you start noticing items you've always wanted to buy and you're left with two options: look away or risk it and spend. I've seen people borrow money to live a certain lifestyle, and believe me when I say that they're just harming themselves in the process. This is where comparison enters the picture; you see people or friends spending a lot of money, and you want to do the same( its not bad to want to live big, but do that within your means), so you go out of your way to do it. Living within your means also helps you to save and it saves you from lots of stress in the sense that you don't have to worry about owing someone and all that. You also don't hoard unnecessary things,i.e it helps you prioritize your needs. One thing I've learned is that everything is a way of life that most people try to maintain. Some people fake it to make it, and it works for them, while others don't. Everyone is contributing to the picture you see; some have wealthy parents, others are in business, some are connected, and others are doing their part. Comparing yourself to others leads to dissatisfaction. "You can be anything, but not everything." ***There's one thing you're better at than anyone else that is by being yourself. Just stay within your means, work hard, and take your time; trust me, your efforts will pay off.*** Please check out my sponsors Thank you @Jumper-01 for the sponsorship renewal. Thank you for taking the time to read this.💚😊

Let go and let God Hello everyone It's Monday once more, guys. Mondays are usually the day when everyone tries to get serious or is always very busy, but luckily this year it isn't that way. Thursdays, on the other hand, have to be one of the busiest days for me. I also have a lot of assignments to complete, and with God's help, I hope this week goes well. Do you believe in the concept of a second chance? Everyone has different reasons for doing something (doesn't make it right, though). Every Christian has been given a second chance, and not just a second chance because when we go to God and sin, he still forgives us, so I believe in second chances. I don't believe you can exist on this planet without people offending you. There are also various sorts of hurt, and some people are unable to forgive certain types of offenses. My friend and I were talking the other day, and we ended up talking about Cheating. There are people who cheat and their partners forgive them, and there are other those who divorce and get back together after many years, sometimes even stronger than before.(I am not saying you should get back together with whoever cheated but let go 😊) In terms of friendships, you know how some individuals have hurt you so badly that you feel like you'll never forgive them. When you've been hurt by someone, the phrase "once bitten, twice shy" comes to mind when you are have been hurt by someone it literally changes the way you think and all, you will be running away from anything friendship because you don't wanna get hurt. Even family members can hurt you, especially those who have had a difficult childhood, with a lot of abuse, and who have grown up to despise their parents or even males, depending on the situation. Please check out my sponsors Steps to forgiveness **Uncover your anger**:- Anger is a natural feeling that we all experience at some point. It takes guts to be honest about your anger; you can take your time writing it down or sitting someplace else, but you must first discover the hurt you are experiencing. **Decide to forgive**: Yes, forgiveness is a decision, and it is human nature to cling on to suffering. You may passionately believe that the individual deserves to suffer, but it is not up to you to make that decision. Make the decision to forgive, and you'll be able to see what's possible. **Practice forgiveness**: Practice forgiveness on a regular basis. Look for new strategies to assist you in forgiving more easily. **Free your mind from emotional confinement:** This is similar to self-forgiveness; you should forgive yourself and stop blaming yourself for trusting that person or whatever else. Yeah, I won't say it's easy to forgive, but to be honest, if you don't forgive, you tend to carry a burden in your heart that prevents you from doing a lot of things, so just let go and let loose. **Thank you for reading**.

Set your priorities straight Happy Sunday guys😊 and how was service? I need to start sleeping right and early. My roommate and I woke up late this morning I still felt like sleeping though, but good thing my church has 2 services so I just decided to go for the second one without rushing. I normally don't eat before going to church but I think I have to change that now, cause its till 1pm I got back to my hostel and I ate around 1:40pm or so, I couldn't even stand straight in church cause I was hungry😂. I do that at home and I am fine without eating but in school its different I don't know why. Enough of my ranting today😂. Let's get to it **Please check out my sponsors** **We want a lot of things as humans; we want to do a lot of things, and we want it all at once and fast.** That is why I chose to write a piece about priorities. There are certain things that are vital to us at different times in our lives, which is why we must establish our priorities. What are the things that are most important to you at that point in your life? As an example, A 5-year-old child can't begin to worry about generating money; I doubt his thoughts will even go there; the most important things to him at that age should be growing up and learning; the same is true for a 30-year-old individual, who is most likely seeking for job or a wife you know the important things at that stage of his life. **Some of the things you should prioritize in your life:-** 1. **God**: Always put God first, and everything else will fall into place. 2. **Self care**: You should also prioritize yourself and take good care of yourself. 3. **Education and learning**: We all need to be educated to some degree. 4. **Work**: This could be a job or anything else that provides you with money for your daily needs. 5. **Having a fulfilling relationship**: you can have a fulfilling relationship by making good friends and, if you are ready, you can have a fulfilling relationship by getting a girlfriend or marrying. Other things, like as having alone time to meditate and all, traveling, and having new experiences, can all come into place. How to Concentrate on What Matters :- Spend Less Time on Non-Valuable Tasks:- It all depends on how you arrange your day; as a student, you will have a lot of projects and work to complete, and when we have spare time, we tend to spend it on ourselves, such as using our phones or doing other things, and we forget about our crucial task. Pay attention to the factors that influence your ability to see the large picture: We all have different strategies for staying focused. Some people become inspired after speaking with a group of people, and this aids them. They say,  *“At the end of your life, you will regret the things you didn’t do rather than the things you did.”* Let that sink in for a moment… Thank you for reading.😊

Side hustle as a student. Hey guys, Friday has arrived, which means my free week is over😪. However, I still have assignments to complete, which I hope to complete before next week. Yes, as a student, you will need money to pay your necessities at practically every step, and you will have to live up to the student lifestyle. Unless your parents are extremely wealthy. Okay, I'll give you a list of a few things you can do to earn money at school. 1. **Freelance Writing** : You can write just like on this site Read cash and earn money. There are also other platforms such as writing books and posting them online as an eBook on Amazon and other sites. You certainly can. If you're particularly talented at writing, you could also compose scripts or songs for other people. 2. **Modeling**: You can apply to various agencies to model for them, whether you are a man or a woman, and there are various types of models. We have face models, runway models, fashion models, plus size models, and other types of models who make a small amount of money. Modeling is open to anyone; you just need to find the one you want to focus on. 3. **Create your own YouTube channel**: This one doesn't require much; all you need is good content, and you can post whenever you want and get paid once you've qualified. I stated that I will start this at some time, but I set it aside due to the type of content I want to create, which demands money, but I am confident that I will still participate. 4. **Graphic design**: If you are confident in your abilities in this area. You may earn money by creating logos and graphics for companies. It's more of a money-making hobby; it's something you enjoy doing while also being compensated for it. Please check out my sponsors 5. **Take lessons/Tutorials:**- If you're a student, this one's for you; you can organize lessons for students and get paid for it. It doesn't have to be book related; you could teach music or exercise (as a fitness trainer) or anything else you're good at. 6. **Tailoring**:- for the fashion designers in the house and you know how to sew you can start your own little brand and sew clothes starting with friends and family, then it grows from there. 7. **Scholarships**: There are many people and organizations that offer scholarships to students who meet all of the requirements. You can apply for one if you meet all of the requirements. It's one of the least stressful ways to meet your school's financial needs. 8. **Get a part-time job**: Depending on how tight your school program is, you could work as a customer service representative or do some light work for someone and get paid. This will not interfere with your schoolwork. 9. **Sell items**: You can sell your textbooks, old items that you no longer need, such as games or phones. You can also use sites like OLX, jiji, and others. 10. **Invest**: You use money to make money; if you know you don't have much, you can invest in things like cryptocurrency trading, bond investments, and so on. 11. **Cook/sell food**: The food business will always be profitable, and if you know you are very good at it, you can sell food to your classmates or friends. I could go on and on about various ways for students to make money, but I'll stop here. ***You can choose which part you want to work on; you don't have to be great at all of them; just one can make you a lot of money. It may not be as simple as it appears (nothing in life is easy), but if you start and are dedicated and consistent, you will see results.*** Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I wish you a wonderful weekend.😊💚

Don't limit yourself Hello there everyone.😊 I hope you enjoyed your day as much as I did. Well, thank God for my life, I didn't spend the entire day inside today😂, and when I got out of school and couldn't get a cab because of convocation, I didn't realize there wouldn't be any bikes outside, so I had to trek from my hostel to a location a little further than where they park, but it was good sha, it forced me to stretch my legs a little. You might be asking why I'm publishing this, but I've realized that I frequently limit or belittle myself. Let's get started. Limiting yourself is essentially the same as imposing a limitation, a limit that cannot be exceeded. Being in prison restricts your movements, in fact, everything you do is regulated or on the orders of the guards in control. So, as I previously stated, I, like most others, prefer to set limits for ourselves. There are times when I want to accomplish something and have figured everything out in my head, but then I start thinking I can't do it or that I am not good enough for it, and I just dismiss the notion. Okay, this year I made the decision to set goals that were both attainable and realistic. Normally, I establish objectives but don't write them down, but this time I decided to do so because I was thinking to myself, "Is it feasible for me to reach these goals?" I was already limiting myself, but I still wrote them down somewhere. Right now, I can say that I've completed one of the ten items on my list. Although money is a crucial aspect that will help me achieve most of them, the first step to achieving anything is believing in yourself, and everything else will fall into place after that. When you limit yourself, you also limit or minimize how you think because, rather than planning for greater accomplishments, your mind is already focused on the minor details, and you begin to doubt yourself. The worst that can happen if you push yourself is that you will fail, but it will simply be another stepping stone on your way to greater heights. **Please check out my sponsors**. Thank you @Abhay for the sponsorship renewal. Some of my goals I set for this year require me to push myself and go out of my comfort zone, and I know I will be able to achieve that. In this country (Nigeria), I know that to get what you want, you have to be connected, and that has limited me in so many ways because I keep saying I have no one except God(Which is true). Well, having connections gives you a greater hand, but that doesn't mean that I can't still get what I want. I will try my best to get there, and the thing is, once you get there, you become that connection people are looking for.   ***Please don't limit yourself. You have got potential.*** Thank you for reading😊💚

Social trends that should not be encouraged Hello everyone How is it going? I have been basically indoors this week cause my school is doing convocation this week asides that I no see rice chop😂, but its fine sha, I can see the joy in their faces cause trust me its not easy reaching that stage regardless of the course and we have been delayed again, its a thing to celebrate because not everyone will make it, I even heard a bad news this morning about someone about to convoke too, but we just thank God for everything. Yeah, for today, I'll be discussing social trends that I believe should be discouraged. 1. **Rituals of adoration:** This has almost become a normal thing, you see guys posting videos of them bringing out huge stashes of money from their wardrobe or talking about the soap they used, you know, they are not afraid or shy to show off all these things anymore, which is almost normal, and yeah, their means are not clean, but I don't think it should be online because the rate of young guys getting into it now is alarming. **2.Challenges**: There will be some challenges that will become popular, and I will wonder why so many people are participating in them. I am referring to the ones that are not safe, such as people pouring various substances on their bodies and so on. I understand that it is to entertain us, but some things are not meant to be shared online just for clout. These problems or trends are short-lived; some just last two weeks before a new one emerges. 3. **People who record themselves performing a charitable act:** It's fine to give, no doubt, but what is your objective or purpose of giving, so that people can recognize you? Or are you hoping for something in return? When you go to charity homes and start documenting or bragging about how much and what you contributed, it's fine if the charity house decides to openly appreciate you, or when you aid someone and tell everyone you meet that it's because of you that they're like that. 4. **People treating celebs like gods:**-First thing you should know is that they are human beings like us, and they will make mistakes and are not perfect. Yeah, but they also have a responsibility as celebs to act well. I have celebs that I love their lifestyles too, but what I can say is that I have respect for them but won't treat them as gods. I also learn from them too. Check out my amazing sponsors You might not totally agree with me, but I know we have reached a time where you are free to do a whole lot of things. **Yes, I totally support freedom to express yourself and all, but there are some things that should be done with care and sense.** It's the trend now, but won't be the trend tomorrow. Do what you love. No one is stopping you from that, but we should know what's wrong and what's right.   Thank you for reading.😊

Only one way left to go and that's up. Hello everyone😁 Did you smile today? Are you happy? I sure did smile and was happy for a moment and that felt good. Well today i was pretty much indoors if not for the light and water issue we had today, I would have been more productive, but with that I was still able to do enough and I am also trying to take things easy and not stress myself to a point that I break down. Make someone happy today and check my sponsors So I just finished watching "Sing 2," a musical film that I really like it, and with that and the suggestion of a friend, I decided to write about things that make me happy. Being productive makes me happy because I feel like I'm making progress in my head. It may not be much, but that's how I see it. So the movie is basically about chasing your dreams, and a koala was dead set on making that dream come true, but it didn't look that way since the person he was trying to impress murdered his dream by telling him, "**YOU** **ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH,"** and that killed him completely. There was one a woman came to cheer him up, and I liked what she said: **"The road to fulfilling your dreams cannot be smooth; you must travel through all of that," and "If you just sit and accept it, then what others say about you not being good enough will be true."** It's one thing to have a dream; it's quite another to make it a reality. So what basically keeps you going or makes you happy? Because for you to have a dreams and you are so passionate about it, it definitely has to make you happy. So there's this new family channel on YouTube I just found and I fell in love with them instantly, they are mixed race (Korean and African)and it just shows how love can be shown regardless of whoever you are and how the parents are and everything just makes me happy (it makes me wanna marry a Korean😂) **When you are passionate about something or something simply makes you happy, no matter how hard you try to hide it or erase it, you will always want to know more or be a part of it.** I enjoy fashion, music, and entertainment, and I try to put them aside so I can concentrate on other things, but no matter how hard I try, they remain on my mind. I keep working on the things I enjoy, and I won't lie, it's exhausting at times since the paths to them aren't always clear, especially in terms of finances, but as the saying goes, "the only way from here is up." It doesn't stop me from trying, though and you don't get everything done in one day it takes time. So if you know you are really passionate about something or what makes you happy, just go for it and you will keep going up from there. Thank you for reading💚 Have a lovely night😊

Give God Praise Hello everyone, how was your Sunday service? So I set an alarm for this morning because church starts at 8:30 am and I slept late yesterday, so I was hesitant to go this morning, but I have a friend with whom I always go with, and I didn't want to disappoint him, so I tried to get everything done quickly, though I was a little late. When I came to church, I was weary from not getting enough sleep, so I couldn't really concentrate, therefore the praise and worship was my favorite part. **If you miss praise and worship on Sunday, believe me, it's as if you've missed the entire church because it's so vital and interesting.** So today's praise and worship was really nice; you'll just feel connected to God, and it was a little longer than usual, but I liked it. The only thing God values more than our prayers are our praises; you know, when you keep praising, it makes him happy, and he will respond quickly to your prayers. The same is true for people: when you start hyping or praising them, it tends to make them happy. Just like when the MC or musician starts hyping you, you know you start spraying money, some of which you may not even have, but you will find a way to bless the person. When you start hailing or calling their oriki (praises), they feel joyful and may even reward you, much like kings do. Praise's Advantages 1. Inviting God's Presence: Just like today, it felt different today, indicating that God was present. 2. Increases our faith in God: When you begin to praise God, you begin to remember all of the good things he has done for you, and your faith in God grows stronger as a result of your praises. 3. Brings victory: Praise brings victory; we congratulate people when they win or succeed. As a result, praising is similar to singing a victory song. Please check out my sponsors, thank you I'll just throw this here, although its not related with the topic: God has meant for us to be blessed and great, but he (the pastor) said it depends on who accepts it first. For example, there is nothing in this world that has not been created by someone; it is simply a matter of who acted first; the men who invented the airplane were not the first to have that idea , someone had the idea long before them, but they acted quickly on it. Our breakthrough and blessings are the same way; they are already there; we just need to act quickly. That is why we pray to God to open our eyes to see the light so that we can act. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.💚 Have a wonderful week.😊

My Day in 3mins Hey guys😁 Still awake? I've been attempting to stay awake, but I really need to sleep. So, in most cases, you arrange your day in your head so you know what you want to do. I had my day planned out, so the online lecture I had today was moved from Thursday. He originally suggested a physical class, but I was hesitant to go, so when I found out it was going to be online in the morning, I was relieved. Then the class began, and I trusted the network to do its job, despite the fact that I had no idea what was going on in class and was only there to attend lecture. I was also concerned that my battery would die cause they had put off the light in the hostel. After that, I went to eat, hoping that my day would go as planned, but then I got word that we were going to have an impromptu class at a time that wasn't really convenient and all, and the lecturer always spends more than his time, so I was worried because I didn't have any iron and also no light for my cloth and phone, and I wasn't really feeling well, so I just had to put on a good face. After all of the back and forth, the lecturer did not teach, but he arrived very late, and we couldn't wait any longer, so we all left, I guess till next week . When I got back to my hostel, I was hungry, so I went outside and got some food. Since then, I've been watching YouTube, and the channel is about a black group comprising of grown men and women talking about life, relationship, work and other things which I really enjoyed. Please check out my sponsors So I will just add this here:- **You know we keep saying there are standards the society sets like, a girl is supposed to look a certain way, a guy is supposed to be the head or in charge of the family, a guy is meant to earn more and the likes some of this standards might be different now, but my question is who are the people who define this standards? They talked about different topics, the most recent one being A woman earns 3times more than her husband, and the husband is comfortable with it. I am just going to give my own opinion** I don't think it's bad if my spouse makes more money than I do, but I'd prefer it if he did, and I'll explain why. - Money almost usually comes with power, and if I follow religion, the man is the head, and we believe he should be in charge. - The family, for example, a father may not want his daughter to be in charge of the majority of his bills, as they do not want their daughter to be stressed. - To simply establish that respect, because I am aware of men's egos. - I believe three times more is excessive; if it's just a little bit extra, I'm alright. I am just stating few reason but I don't see anything wrong in it, I just prefer if he his earning more or the difference between our earnings isn't much. I hope I was able to make enough sense. I hope you had a great day Have a lovely night.😊

Be contented:- we don't see behind the scenes. Hello there, guys. Today is another day, and as time passes, I understand that I'm not growing any younger, and the more responsible I must be in all I do. **At this point, we should be able to take responsibility for every action we take, and we should be able to make good decisions, which brings me to my topic for today.** Today I am writing these due the bad news I have been hearing of people dying and its really saddening. This morning too I saw a post of another and its just sad. I am sure you would have heard of the issue of guys using girls for ritual and all, everyone is just pressured at this age to make it big quick through whatever means. My roommates and I were discussing about celebrities, and some of them had previously met with them, and they said that everything we're seeing isn't really accurate; they put up this image so that we can keep up; they're celebrities for a reason. And most of the time, when we see their lifestyle, we'll say "God when." Can we do what they're doing if we're given the chance? Some of them do other things in the back just to impress us. You'll hear a celeb with probably just 500k followers and not many promotions or Collaborations(ads) , and you'll know that with that work it's not logically conceivable (I'm not saying that everyone flaunting money ways isn't pure o), but most of them won't tell you what they do behind the scenes. And you'll be stressing yourself out or taking other measures to make it happen. You will make it, if you work hard and smart, and one thing I discovered once you make a little money You will be unsatisfied, Even with bodies, you'll see celebs who are dissatisfied with their bodies even though they look perfect already but still do surgery for it, or it's most likely a filter, and you'll assume that they are so perfect and find means to be like them. Check out my sponsors I saw a post where a girl was trying to express herself. I'm not sure if it was pain, anger, or fear, but she was simply trying to encourage people because the deaths I've heard about in the past have been heartbreaking. Please let's just be patient and be content, there's nothing wrong in wanting to have money but once you work hard and you get it through the right means it will surely come, God won't let his people suffer or make them go through what they can't handle. PS this post is not directed to girls only but everyone out there let's be careful in the means to get money it, if its not clean it will only be for a short time , why enjoy for a short period when you can enjoy for long with your family. Pls work hard work and God will bless your work, amen Thank you for taking the time to read this.😊 Have a lovely night.

Show up while you can. Hello everyone 😊 How are things going for you guys? My days have been really stressful due to schoolwork, and I need to sleep more because I spend the most of my time in class, which is one of the reasons I am inconsistent on this site. **We should strive to check in on ourselves on a frequent basis and get adequate rest because if you don't, your body will do it for you.** We should also attempt to eat healthy and avoid all of these junk foods since they influence us in ways we don't understand; we should look after ourselves and God will continue to protect us. I realize it's a little off topic, but I feel compelled to share it. The last time I went for a checkup, the doctor suggested I check my blood pressure, which I did for the first time, and he said it was high, which I knew was due to my over thinking, so I just had to relax. If I hadn't checked, it could have been much worse, but I thank God. Please check out my sponsors, thank you So, today's subject I'm not sure how to convey it, but it's all about being there while you can, any chance you get to do something for someone which doesn't affect you, just be there or help. There have been times when I've felt that some people only come to you when they need help, but I've come to realize that if people didn't recommend me to them, they wouldn't have come to me, and that's probably because of the type of person you are, so if you're in that situation, do what you can while you can because life is so short. My friend, with whom I have only known for about a month or more, just lost her father (May his soul rest in perfect peace🕊🕊). Although I don't know much about him, from what she's said and what I've seen, he has always been there for people with what he has (well, we can't always be there for everyone), but my point is that we should take advantage of any opportunity we have because life is short. Yes, hearing such tragic news stings, but what he left behind and how he lived were both excellent. I sometimes look back and i am grateful for the little I was able to do in secondary school, and I have no regrets; you may not be compensated for your efforts, but there's nothing wrong with doing your part. People will only remember you at your birth or death because life is fleeting. **However, if you live a life that leaves a positive legacy, it is worthwhile to live.** Have a nice night.😊 Thank you for taking the time to read this.💚

Power of the tongue:- Repeat it to receive it. Hey guys Happy Sunday😊 Did you go to church today? Well I did and I was glad I did cause I learnt a lot, although I woke up late today but was still able to meet the end of worship (praise and worship is one of the sweetest part of going to church). I haven't been in the best mood lately, have been easily down, and there's just negativity everywhere, which isn't healthy; I've been working on it diligently. The pastor talked about the power of the tongue, and it felt as if he was speaking directly to me. This year 2022 has nothing in store for us; we will be the ones to establish how 2022 will be by what we contribute. I wish I had written down all he said, but I still have some in my head. The majority of the time, we are confronted with obstacles or unpleasant events; what matters is how we handle them. For example, if we receive terrible news or are confronted with a dilemma, we should thank God first or refrain from saying anything, because most of the time, what you say first is what matters, and what you say first might become reality. It is not simple to do, and you may not even intend it, but if you say something that may effect your life, keep it to yourself or bless God. He told a story about a chicken who tried to fight off an eagle carrying its chick but failed, so the eagle took it away, then another hen the eagle tried to take the chick away but it didn't fight back, so when it returned to its nest the birds asked what the hen did and he said nothing, so they asked him to return it because it was dangerous. People are usually interested in how you will react or what you will say in order to manipulate you. He also added that you can't lose on both sides, **so don't let your loss ruin your next.** We should make it a practice to say pleasant things to one another. These are some positive affirmations I say to myself:- **- I am strong, steady and grounded** **- I am healthy** **- I will be successful** **- God's goodness radiates around me** **- I am grateful for this day** Pls check out my sponsors Every morning, especially when you are feeling low, you can opt to say positive affirmations to yourself. Some days I don't even want to get out of bed because of all the negativity in my thoughts, so I listen to music or simply get involved, but the greatest method to motivate yourself is to say positive things to yourself, and the more you say them, the more they become a reality. Thank you @Freedom007 for the sponsorship, I appreciate it💚😊 Thank you for taking the time to read this.

A penny a day, a step to freedom Hello there, guys. The way the days just fly by still baffles me, possibly because I've been extremely busy lately and I mostly only have time at night, which is why I write or do other personal things at night. I still need to plan this year carefully in order to be organized. Okay, so today I saw a picture of an apartment on social media, and a woman talked about how she saved up to get that apartment, and just looking at that picture was really inspiring, and it shows how hard she worked. Please check out my sponsors, thank you😊 So back to it I've had my own experience where I needed to save up for a machine, wig, and other items. I didn't really have a budget; all I wanted to do was save money. I began with the local one (piggy box/bank/kolo), but I was tempted and kept deceiving myself, so I had to stop. Then I started the online one as well, though you may be tempted to withdraw as well, but they have a policy that helps if you don't withdraw in any case. I was very proud of myself because it takes a lot of discipline and patience to get just two of the things I wanted at the time. Investments are savings too in that they yield earnings and are often long-term. Any property, whether it be land or a building, is an investment. All of these celebrities who buy expensive items such as bags and paintings are making investments that they will sell for a very high price in the future; all of those ancient artworks are now worth millions and billions of dollars, so I promote investing as well. You've probably heard a variety of strategies to save and spend, and we all need to know how to save and spend at times. I was telling a friend about how much money I've been spending on food and how I'm not really saving or attempting to save money. **If you earn $500 per month, that does not mean you will save $400.** You must plan how you will spend your money. I saw a video of a man explaining how we should divide our money; some individuals invest half of their profits. I don't recall the exact ratio, but you should set aside 10% of your wages for savings, 10% for investments, 20% for feeding, and 10% for tithes and the likes it can be more or less it depends. **Savings requires determination, patience and discipline its not easy to do but its worth it. I hope we start the habit of savings .** Thank you for reading Have a goodnight😊

A step at a time Hey guys😊, how is it going? I've been reluctant to do anything this morning, and I have a lot to do today, such as finish an assignment I started yesterday, and I was able to accomplish something, though not much, but I wouldn't have been able to start it if it hadn't been for the support of a friend. That brings me to my topic for today: my experience on this site thus far. I had heard about this site previously, but I didn't pay attention, and when a classmate began it, I was still uninterested because it was about writing. Then @Freedom007 kept pushing me to just do it, despite the fact that I was hesitant for a variety of reasons, including - **I don't know English well** **- I don't know how to write** **- I won't be able to keep up with the pace, and so on.** He persuaded me to join, so I started with noise cash, which I didn't enjoy because the tips were so small, so I abandoned it despite the fact that I was also working and didn't have time for it. He then advised me to join read cash, which I did. My first essay was more of an introduction because I had no idea what to write and was still learning the ropes. At start, I had about 5 subscribers and 10views, which was encouraging at that time. The journey then began; it was discouraging because rusty hadn't visited me in a long time, but I still managed to write, till it was fixed (with the help of Club1BCH , thank you guys so much), I am currently 2months on this site with about 32 subscribers and I know it only gets better from here. My favorite article has to be "we don't wear our problems on our faces".You can read about it here. I'm sure I got the idea from someplace, but the point was that people assume we're doing alright because of what they see on the outside, whereas in reality, most people are just trying to keep us moving. https://read.cash/@Seni/we-dont-wear-our-problems-on-our-faces-6a147615 At some point i am always like did I write all these cause I know writing was one of the things I complained about, but I guess its just another part of myself that I discovered. Although it can be difficult at times coming up with what to write and not copying another person's work, but we still pull through. I'd like to express my gratitude to everyone who has helped me, from tips to subscribers and sponsors. Please have a look at them below, and may God bless you while you do so. **Conclusion** Not everything happens at once; sometimes it takes patience; sometimes it's just that one step that changes everything; and there's always room for improvement. I'm not there yet, but I'm walking down that path and will get there. Thank you kindly. Have a fantastic day.

One of my scariest moments Hello there, everyone. I hope you had a good day? Is 2022 shaping up to be a wonderful year so far? I realize it's only four days, but a lot can happen in that time. I'd like to revisit some of my most terrifying events from high school. I remember this one because it was during the jamb period and we needed to register for jamb, and because my school is in the bush, the road leading to the school is long and bushy, you can get kidnapped there and no one will notice, so to register we had to go to Babcock (my school is in Ogun state, ikenne), which is a private school not far from Babcock, and we took the school bus there, we got there early cause there was not much crowd yet, Then we started the process and all, mine was delaying due to network so everyone had to wait, it was getting late, my teacher said i will have to come back tomorrow and I didn't want to do that before i knew it network came and it was able to register, I was so happy. When we were about to leave, I was thinking about how we would get back because it was already late and the bus driver had gone home and there was no one to pick us up, so my teacher said, "We will trek", and trust me, the distance is really long, aside from the fact that we had to cross one express that big trailers always pass through, and we also have to take that extremely long and creepy road. omo, I was terrified, but he assured us that he does this all the time. We crossed the express then when we finally got to that long road I started praying trust me ,if you know the place I'm talking about you will be scared too ,we held our hands and started walking, **all of a sudden we started hearing people talking in the bushes we didn't see them but could only hear them,** my heart was racing like this is how it will end for me and that road is silent so every sound you will hear from from the cricket to the footsteps, the trees and all. I believe we were a group of 5 girls and 1 boy, with a male teacher(my teacher wasn't scared at all). As soon as we arrived at the gate, we began running; it was as if we had been released from captivity; we dashed to the dining room, where it was already prep time; I was overjoyed. I'm still not sure where those noises were coming from, but I'm hoping they were people praying. Check out my sponsors **Second one** This happened in my jss2, I believe my classmates and I were writing notes in class during lunch (basic science and too many notes) because no one was around the school area because everyone had gone to eat. Then we began to hear gunshots. ***I first thought it was hunters in the bush, so we didn't pay attention until the sounds continued, then we saw some people jumping our fence, if you see the way school scatter, everyone started running to hide***, we were looking for one of our classmate because we couldn't find her we started crying not knowing this girl has already ran and left us to the hostel since, we sha ran to the hostel and saw her then we started laughing. When things calmed down, we discovered that robbers were trying to chase some people and had forced their way into our school through the bush. It was both terrifying and hilarious. I have a lot more, but I'll save them for another time; they're fun memories that make me giggle every time I remember them; I thought I wouldn't survive boarding school, but I ended up spending 6 years there; I learned a lot from it; although it was fresh and unique, it was still good; there was a downside to it as well. But we thank God. Thank you for taking the time to read this.💚

Pretty hurts Hello everyone 😊 happy new year and happy first Sunday of the year🎊🎉. I have been thinking of what to write and I didn't want anything on new year resolution and all I don't even have mine yet, I just wanted something else that's why I didn't post yesterday. I just want to start this year in a good mood not to stress or over think even though I know I have a lot on my plate. Alright I was talking with a friend to today about how I wasn't really comfortable in church today because of my gele (head tie)then the topic hit me from there. The society has standards for what is pretty, beautiful, or should be pretty, and we don't get to see the pain behind it. You might see someone dressed well, but you don't know the pain or struggle it took to dress that way; society values what's on the outside. You may have heard of Beyonce's song "PRETTY HURTS," in which she breaks down a lot of it. -**"perfection is a disease of the nation"** **-"Blonder hair, flat chest, TV says bigger is better"** **- south beach sugar free, Vogue says "thinner is better".** Please check out my sponsors, God bless you as you do that. Some of the ones I know about:- 1. Gele (head tie):- The choristers' uniform is native wear with gele for today's service. Normally, I don't like putting things on my head because I see it as a load😂, but I admire people who can and look pretty in it, so after tying it, after about 2 hours, I started feeling pain on my ears because it was tight (that's how it's supposed to be), I wasn't really comfortable, I just had to bare the pain until we closed. When I got home, I told my mother about it and she said that's how it usually hurts. You see how beautiful it is when people wear it, but you have no idea how much pain it causes. 2. High heels: You may have noticed that girls always carry slippers when they wear heels because they are not always comfortable. I actually like heels and how they look, but they can cause pain in the heel of your leg if worn for an extended period of time. Yes, it is attractive, but it can also be very uncomfortable and painful at times. 3. Appearance:- This varies depending on the area; as a model, you should be slim, but nowadays they prefer curvier women. Most people undergo surgery in order to be accepted by society. Your hair should be done properly, and you should look this way and that. There are many more even for men too. You may argue that no one is forcing you to do these things, but some of them can't be stopped; you can't say we should stop wearing heels and the like. I simply believe that you should do what you are comfortable with and not let beauty standards define you. There's nothing wrong with looking good, but do so at your own comfort. Beauty isn't just on the outside; it's on the inside as well. Thank you for taking the time to read this.💚 Have a fantastic year!😊

Positive things that happened to me this year Hey guys we have made it this far two more days to go, we thank God. After the new year I need to take like one week off everything to get myself together 😅. Please do well to check out my sponsors, thank you This year has been difficult in many ways for me, but I choose to count my blessings, which is why I am writing about the positive things that have occurred. Along the way, I felt like I hadn't accomplished anything because, normally, at the start of the year, we all have goals for the year, even if we don't write them down, we at least know what we're aiming for, and I didn't achieve a specific one I wanted because struggles arose along the way and I wasn't really able to face it, but I can always try again next year. So enough of me ranting😅, let's get to it 1. Health recovery: I'm an AA and I don't get ill very frequently (mainly malaria and the like), but this year I've been terribly sick four times and I'm not sure what's going on. The healthcare costs were not friendly, and it was unanticipated as well, but I am grateful that I was able to fully recover because not everyone recovers from illness; it could be as mild as malaria, and they perish away. I thank God for it and do not take it for granted. 2. Gained confidence: This may sound bizarre, but I can see how much more confident I have become since the outset of the year. There are a lot of things I've avoided because I'm not confident about them, but I can now say that I can face them and accept them whether they work out or not. Not everything works out on the first try, and I've been discouraged in trying new things throughout the year because I was more concerned about the risks. To be able to express oneself, you must have confidence (even on this site) 3. Scholarship:- I wasn't expecting it because I always believe they're scammers or what are the possibilities of me getting it and such, so I dismissed it altogether. Well, thanks to a friend's encouragement and support, I decided to give it a shot, and when I got the call that I had won the scholarship, I was overjoyed. It wasn't in my plan for the year, but it worked out, and I thank God for that. 4. This one is not for me, but for some people who have had positive things happen to them, such as a woman in her fifties getting married in my church, which proves that God never fails, some of my friends graduating, which I thank God for, job promotions for two people I know, and meeting new people and strengthening bonds with some friends. So, even though I said the year was rough for me, I didn't mention the bad ones, there are a lot of positive things that happened if we look at it carefully and focus more on them. Random question What's that weird food combination you eat?😂. Thank you for reading💚 Have a lovely night.😊

Do those thoughts define you? Hello everyone Bawo ni? Shey Dada le wa?(how are you? Hope you are doing fine?) For me I know its stress anytime I am at home, I thought I will be able to start something on the assignment I have but I have not had time asides that, I still need to properly understand it, i will be fine,God helping me. What do you believe others think of you? Okay, I know we shouldn't care so much about what other people think of us in the sense that it shouldn't stop us from doing things like making hair, starting businesses, wearing clothes, and so on. (This does not imply that you do bad things o.) So I was talking with a friend about how many people are doing anonymous and stuff because the year is coming to an end, and I was like, I've never done anything like that before, and I don't even want to because I wasn't expecting anything good from it or it's just not my thing. He eventually persuaded me to do it, which I did. I won't say I expected good things from it😂, but they were good, but at least I now have a better understanding of what people are thinking. It simply reflects people's genuine feelings about you. People don't remember all of the things you're worried about, according to what I've heard. It may not be true in some cases because I recall some embarrassing things that people did in the past like in secondary school and all😂. But there is some truth to it because everyone has different issues they are dealing with and no one has time to think about your life and it is up to you to let it weigh you down or move past it. I remember in primary school when my teacher asked me to debate and I begged her not to because I didn't think I was good enough or because I was shy, so she made me do it and I lost, I couldn't say more than four sentences and I wasn't happy, so you know children na I started crying and went to stay under the table, it was actually embarrassing and I thought probably everyone was going to remember it for life, but no one really cares about all these things, I laugh about them now. So we shouldn't let those thoughts stop us from moving forward; just because people think you're fat doesn't mean you shouldn't wear a dress if it makes you feel good. There's more to life than that; we're on this planet to live and live our lives in accordance with God's words. Please check out my amazing sponsors I want to thank everyone, sponsors, friends, and those who have been supporting me, I don't take it for granted, and I hope 2022 is better for us all and God keep us to see each other win. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Have a wonderful night.💚😊

Self expression Happy Sunday ☺ and happy boxing day🎁 How was church service? In church we talked about thanksgiving as per last Sunday of the year, reflecting on how God has been merciful to us, you can click on the link here to read my previous article on it. https://read.cash/@Seni/thanksgiving-fe7254b9 Straight to the topic, self expression its simply an act or form of expressing oneself and people tend to do that in different ways, whether words, actions, clothing, facial expressions and the likes. We likely have different level of comfort with sharing. What you share to a random person is different from what you share to a friend or best friend. Sometimes we also find it hard to be expressive maybe because of the fear of being judged or people not properly understanding you so we tend to keep it to ourselves and keep suppressing how we actually feel. Everyone but us understands our personality based on how we share and express ourselves to others, and it sets the tone for our entire life. It's an important component of life to consider, particularly if you want to feel more understood and connected to the people you care about. Self-expression refers to how we express ourselves, and there are many different ways to do so. There are few "bad" ways to communicate oneself, but there are a few things you can do to increase your chances of being seen and heard. Pls check out my amazing sponsors, thank you Healthy ways of expressing oneself **1. Writing about how you feel:**- writing can really help to express how you feel, some do this through journals/diary, blogs (anonymous or not), even read.cash site has really helped some of us to be expressive especially me. Writing these thoughts down can be really relieving and helps to slow down our thinking process to fully understand how we feel without having to share with anyone if its private or sensitive. **2. Get Active**. Once we focus on something that pulls it out of our minds and bodies, movement is a strong means of expressing oneself in a physical way. When things go well in athletics, there are many possibilities to feel elated. Yoga, running, swimming, gymnastics, weight lifting, and other sports are examples. Exercise and movement can help you regulate your moods and decrease stress if you suffer from depression, anxiety disorders, or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). **3. Be creative** You don't have to be an artist to use art to express yourself; anyone can do it. Give it a shot even if you're not very excellent at any of them; you don't have to be great to enjoy it. I occasionally simply attempt things to see how I can be; I'm not very good at makeup, but I still do it, and I also try drawing; it just helps me relax in a way I can't express. **4. Music** This is what I find to be the most effective. Singing in the shower, listening to music wherever you go, or making songs if you're skilled at it are all possibilities. Some people tend to express their selves through music it could be by praising God or a song about how your day went, or someone you Care about and all. Music is like medicine, it could be the beat or lyrics that just gets to you, but its also a way of relieving you. 5.**Effective communication** This is one of the simplest ways to express yourself. Sometimes all we need to do is express ourselves to get rid of the pain, but it's never simple since we feel obligated to keep it to ourselves because we're afraid the person to whom we're expressing ourselves will interpret us in a negative or improper way, which could have a mental impact. And sometimes we really want to express ourselves but also want to be safe, which means we end up hurting ourselves more and limiting how we want to express ourselves. I'm not going to lie. I know how difficult it may be to convey one's inner feelings because I've experienced it before, but I believe I'm emerging better with each passing day. Because of some amazing friends I have, and finally, I believe we shouldn't over think or contemplate about what we don't have, but rather be grateful for what we do have, even if you tagged it as not being perfect, I'm sure someone out there loves you just the way you are, and there's nothing wrong with wanting to improve. You're unique the way you are, and anyone who thinks, advises, or believes your uniqueness should be kept at bay should be avoided. I didn't understand until I experienced it. Heyo😁 How is it going? I am finally home for the holiday, my day went so fast that I can't even point out what I did. Straight to the topic:- I'm sure we've all heard the phrase "you'll understand when you're older." I'm always convinced that I'm smart enough to figure out whatever they're withholding from me (not that I don't understand; it just gets clearer and better with practice). I always wanted to be an adult when I was younger since they usually got the greatest share and got to pick first, and they got more money and stuff than me, so I really wanted to grow up quickly. Now that the time has come, I'm feeling like I have to figure everything out on my own; you're not instructed what to do, you have to work hard for the 2 meat, and everything just seems to be becoming tougher. Please check out my awesome sponsors -Fashion design: one of the reasons I started learning fashion designing is i wanted to sew a cloth for a wedding that was important because it was for a family member, but I didn't have the money for it, so I wondered what was so difficult about tailoring that I couldn't do it. From there, I told my mom that I wanted to learn to sew and that I would start as soon as possible. It wasn't easy; I struggled with paddling the machine when I first started (I started with manual) I broke so many needles😅, you know it was frustrating, but as I progressed, I realized why some tailors charge so much for clothes. 3. You'll notice that it's mostly single people who give relationship advice, and they're very good at it. You'll assume they have experience until they get into it and realize it's not as simple as it appears, and the advise they gave you will be ignored. 4. You know how easy it is to criticize others. Oh, why is this person singing this way?, why is this person acting this way?, and so on till you arrive. I joined the adult choir about two months ago or so, and believe me when I say that there is a lot of duty and sacrifice involved. When someone is singing on stage, it appears to be simple, but the first time I did it, I went blank because there are so many eyes and all, and you can forget lyrics and so many other things can happen. Now, I understand that this is not an easy task, but the more you do it, the better you will become. With education, as we progress, it becomes more difficult, and you will notice that the maths that was difficult to solve in Jss1 is now something you can do with your eyes closed in Ss1. This is because you have more experience and a better understanding of it. Yeah, we could try to reject it, but as we get older we realize that everything happens for a purpose, and every moment, and how we handle and pass through it, is for a reason. Every bit of effort you donors put in should be commended, because it takes time and effort to put all of those things in place. You don't realize how much effort it takes until you've done it yourself. **Okay random question(As per Christmas)** If you receive a gift from someone, it doesn't fit you or probably wrong size or you don't like it. what do you do? Thank you for taking the time to read this💚. Merry Christmas in advance🎄🎁

Fear:- face everything and rise. The sun is shining brightly this afternoon, and the weather can be perplexing at times. How are your Christmas preparations coming along? I'm not sure why I'm not feeling Christmas this year. But it will be good. Yes, I intend to write about fear. Fear, fear, and more fear. It is a negative emotion triggered by the threat of danger, pain, or harm. We've all felt fear in some form or another. It could be as follows: **Fear of failure**: We frequently do not try new things or take risks because we are afraid of the outcome, whether it will work or not. Especially if you have previously failed, you will be afraid to try again. Fear is an emotion that we are meant to feel, but we must not allow it to consume us. **Fear of losing someone**: You may have heard someone say, "I don't want to get too attached in case I lose someone."It's because you've formed a bond with the person only for it to end, which is why some people struggle to make things last, whether it's a friendship, a relationship, or any kind of ship. **Fear of death**:- Death is natural, it is inevitable, but people still fear it because you can't predict when it will occur. However, what I sometimes fear more is what happens after death. Did my life on Earth have any significance? , Did I really have an impact on this planet, or am I just here to take up space? **Phobias**:- It could be a fear of heights, spiders, or water, among other things. I'm afraid of chickens or birds in general (Alektorophobia), but I'm not sure what it is about them that frightens me. My mom always says that God gave us dominion over all creatures, so I shouldn't be afraid, but I'm like, yeah, I know, just don't let it touch me. 😂 There are so many more that I can't even remember them all. But, at some point, we must confront and overcome our fears. I used to be afraid of taking risks, but living alone in this country is a risk, and just because I try something and it doesn't work out doesn't mean I'll give up; I can always try again or try something else; I can't fail in every aspect. The normal process is that danger causes fear, and once the danger has passed, the fear fades. When the fear does not go away, it transforms into something more dangerous: in extreme cases, anxiety. Anxious people have a tendency to overreact to situations and see danger around every corner. Not everyone suffers from anxiety, but fear has the potential to hold us back in life. Please check out my sponsors, thank you ****How to overcome fear**** **Analyze the nature of your fear:** is it rational, or is it based solely on "what ifs"? Fear of failure is unquestionably one of the "what ifs"! Don't let them take over your life. **Prioritize the potential benefits:** every decision will have some drawbacks. However, balance these against the potential benefits of a decision and how your life may change for the better. **Learn to live with some uncertainty in your life:** you will never be able to eliminate all risk in life, so stop acting as if you can! Making a big decision is simply picking one of several paths through the uncertainty. **Stop believing that "doing nothing" is an option:** action builds confidence, forces us to learn, and keeps us moving forward in life. Make a conscious decision to be brave. Thank you @Greatwolfman for the sponsorship, I really appreciate it.😁 Thank you for reading💚 decision to be brave.

12 months of 2021 Hey guys, I seem to be in a good mood today; I've been worried about a lot of things lately, but I'm relieved that one of them is partially resolved. I hope your day goes well. Wow, this year flew by so fast that I can't really remember everything I did, but I'll break it down into months. Pls check out my sponsors. Thank you😊 **January** The year's theme is "My Year of Great Abundance." I stuck to the theme for the entire year. I had high expectations for 2021, and I had laid out my plans and goals for the year. Corona was still out at the time, but I was glad we were able to get out instead of just sitting at home. **February** After the Corona delay, my school was still debating whether to hold online or physical lectures. We started in February, and it was all new to everyone. I was worried about how it would work, but I also wanted us to move forward. So many complains about network issues, data and the likes but we still had it. **March** At this point, we've figured out how the online lecture works and everything, but the workload was heavy. I was confused most of the time, and I was also juggling schoolwork and housework, which wasn't easy. My Dad and sister's birthdays were also in March. **April** My eldest sister's birthday was also in April, and I was already preparing for exams; it wasn't easy; we were rushed with so many materials here and there, and we wrote our exams back to back in one week. I fell sick and lost weight, which I didn't realize until we were done. I thought I wasn't going to make it, but we all made it. **May** My birthday month, school had already started, I moved in on my birthday, I was worried it wouldn't go well, but it was great😁. Yes, it was this month that I tried something new, and it worked out so well for me that I was overjoyed. This month, I did nothing but relax. **June** Following the observation of results that are not always encouraging. I just needed to cheer myself up. The lectures were going well, and I was meeting new people. Lest I forget, I really liked my roommates back then; they were the best group I'd had so far. **July** Corona rumors were already circulating before they kicked us all out of the hostel, but I believe it was due to unpaid electricity bills, which they were attempting to conceal. **August** So, we continued the lectures online. As usual, there was stress. I got sick again, and this time it was worse; I had to go to the hospital, and I lost a lot of weight. I despise the feeling of being sick; it's not a good thing because you won't be able to do anything . I was unable to attend some lectures and read as well. But I pulled through, thank God. **September** The second semester exam in September came and went. This time I didn't get sick😂. But I had other problems. The thing that affected me was thinking a lot; believe me, if you think too much, it affects everything you do. **October** I spent it at home too, basically trying to be productive and I was just sewing most of the time and mostly watching movies. It was basically chilling for me. **November** I spent the entire month at home. I started learning fashion designing before but stopped due to schoolwork and other obligations, so I decided to resume work in November because I don't like being unproductive. It wasn't easy because I changed where I was learning, so it felt like I was starting over, but I learned a lot. **December** I was concerned at first because we were delayed by nearly two years while I was figuring out my life and all. We started a new session of school, and everything just seems to be getting tougher as we go, but I know we'll be fine. Christmas is my favorite holiday, but I don't know why I'm not feeling it this year. **Conclusion** What I can say I learnt this year is over thinking doesn't solve anything it only adds more and it affects your health too. Don't be scared to try something new if its not bad it could Favour you. I also learnt to be patience, unilag really taught me that😅. Consistency too I won't say I am the best at sewing but I have really improved because of how consistent I was in learning it. I won't say 2021 was better than 2020 for me because it wasn't but I am grateful for all this. I hope 2022 works in Favour for us. Thank you for reading💚 Merry Christmas and happy new year in advance.🎄🎁 y

@Seni

What goals are you setting? Happy Sunday guys😊. How has the weekend been? Seems like a lot of people have been falling sick, I don't know what's causing it but I just hope its not what I am thinking sha😂. So I am going to be sharing what I learnt in church today. I didn't get the topic clearly, but I was able to understand his point. Yeah, the year is almost over and this period is were people begin to look at what they have achieved and their goals for the next year. **Things to consider when setting goals**:- 1. **Setting realistic goals:** By January, everyone will have set goals for the new year, but most of those goals will be unrealistic. Your objectives should be specific and challenging. Yes, difficult in the sense that it pushes you because if it was easy, you wouldn't want to work. Assume you earn #200k per month and set your goals to 1 billion naira per month, which is completely unrealistic. It will take about 1 million to 2 million to make it work, but it is still doable. We must put our trust in God and our facts to work. 2. **Listening to what others have to say:** This has been a stumbling block for many people recently, including myself. We are always concerned about what others will think about everything you do, and believe me, if that continues to worry you, there will be no progress. You need to own up to your goals and show results. Whether you something or not people will always have an opinion about it. 3. **Consistency**: Success does not happen overnight. It comes from what you do consistently, not what you do occasionally, and when you are consistent in whatever you do, you only get better at it. When I first started learning to sew, I used to complain a lot because it was difficult; I wasn't happy because I wasn't getting it right, but the more I did it, the better I got at it. Even my boss had to practice a lot before she got that good, and it takes a lot of patience. Pls do well to check out my sponsors. Thank you😊 **4. Mentoring**: We all want to do things on our own at times, but we need someone to guide us along the way, and it has to be someone in your field of work. Even those who have advanced in their careers or hold positions of power have mentors. It could be as simple as one word or connection that leads to the breakthrough you've been looking for. 5. **Meditate**: You must find your inner peace. Sometimes all you need to do is take some time out and meditate, and you'll realize that's when you find yourself, or when you get ideas and see things clearly. Meditation transforms us from survival to creation, from separation to connection, from imbalance to balance, and from the limiting emotions of fear, sadness, and anger to the expansive emotions of freedom, joy, and love. What are you going to do differently in year 2022? And this year is over whether you achieved your goals or not, I think coming this far is an achievement. Thank you for reading💚 Have a lovely week. Stay safe😊
