Thanksgiving

Hey guys, we made it this far, and that is something we should be thankful for.

Thanksgiving is essentially a celebration of gratitude.
Yes, life can be difficult, but we should be grateful for both our successes and our failures.
It is also a tradition in the United States and some other countries, and it is observed on the last Thursday of November. It is essentially a day set aside to express gratitude for the year, which is a very good thing.

On Sunday, my pastor said we should start thanking God for the things we didn't get, the problems in our lives, which may seem counterintuitive, but his point was that when you keep thanking God for what he hasn't done, he is basically pushed to do more. Similarly, if you do something nice for someone and they keep thanking you, you will want to do more.

When you hear about other people's problems, you can't help but thank God. My life isn't perfect, and I don't have it all figured out, but I'm doing my best and grateful for what I have.

I'm not sure which year is better for me, 2021 or 2020, because they were both bad, but I'm grateful for the chance to try again next year

 - I'm most thankful for life

 - I'm thankful for my family

- I'm thankful for my friends

- I'm thankful for my health (I got sick a lot this year and I rarely get sick)

 - I'm thankful that my body is functioning properly ( I can eat, I can go to the toilet, basically everything a human being is meant to do)

And so much more..

Here are some suggestions for cultivating gratitude on a regular basis.

Send a thank-you note.

Writing a thank you letter or email expressing your enjoyment and appreciation for that person's impact on your life can make you happier and strengthen your relationship with that person. We should not feel entitled when someone helps us always show gratitude.

Send it, or, if possible, deliver and read it in person.

Make it a point to send at least one gratitude letter per month. Write one to yourself every now and then.

Mentally thank someone.

You don't have time to write?

It may help to remember someone who has done something nice for you and mentally thank them.

Maintain a gratitude journal.

Make it a habit to write down or share your thoughts about the gifts you've received with a loved one every day.

Count your blessings

Set aside some time each week to sit down and write about your blessings, reflecting on what went well or what you are thankful for.

Be specific in your writing and consider the feelings you experienced when something good happened to you. It might not look like much but the little achievement be thankful for it and once you write the them it motivates you.

Pray.

Everything we have is Gods doing, so be grateful to him. For the life he gives us and so many more.

Meditate.

The practice of mindfulness meditation entails focusing on the present moment without judgment.

Although most people concentrate on a single word or phrase (such as "peace"), it is also possible to concentrate on what you are grateful for (the warmth of the sun, a pleasant sound, etc.).

To be honest I thought I have not achieved anything this year, probably its not what I wanted but as I look back I notice the little ones. I joined this site this year, I also improved in sewing.

Be grateful
