Okay so I have been busy this days that I don't even have time for myself, I would have planned out my whole day then before I know it the day is gone and no time for myself.
I am an over thinker and most times it always affects me a lot. During that lockdown time it wasn't really good for me because asides from my phone and family I didn't really have much to do and social media can be depressing sometimes, so I just kept thinking how will I make money, eat, you know just life basically to the extent it became an habit late at night I will be awake thinking for like an hour and still not getting anything, just worrying about things that are not really necessary. So I decided to try some things to help me
1. Skincare/self care:- I had interest in it so I started watching videos on how to go about it and stuffs, so I started I was just using so many products although I read about them but I wasn't patient enough and I also spent a lot on it, then at some point they started clearing. I added one product to my skincare routine, I read everything about it for like the first 3weeks it was working like magic, then all of a sudden my face started itching me it was really bad, I stopped using it but now my face is better not perfect yet but its clear and this skincare just took my mind off a lot of things, although the journey was a bit rough but now skincare is just soothing and I love doing it, it makes me feel good about myself.
2. Music :- For me this is just like a medicine, it has its own way of healing, when I am trying to get my sh*t together I just listen to some music that reassures me that everything will be fine, it can be me dancing or just singing to it(at least it makes me feel good)
3. Enjoyment 😂:- sometimes we over work ourselves and don't take out time to relax and treat ourselves right.
Eat that food, go on that date, buy that cloth, go out with your friends,make yourself happy. You know we make money so we can spend them, I like satisfying myself o ,once in a while or anytime I get the opportunity.
4. Sleep:- This is important, get enough sleep, yeah your schedule maybe tight but try and fit in sleep into it, your health is important. There was a time I wasn't getting enough sleep you would even see it on my face, my body reacted o it took the rest for me I was sick for a while, I started increasing my sleep hours and reduced late night movies too😅 (I do this a lot).
we are all trying to find out who we are, what makes us happy. I am trying to be more expressive and also working on over thinking because I tend to bottle things up and try and solve everything on my own which is not good.
This site has helped me in expressing my self in a way. I have watched so many people doing their own thing in their own way of course people will judge you no matter what, but they are still living their life's and making it big.
Lately, I just discovered I can't do any chore without having a song playing. I saw the image you posted about reflection, surprisingly, I couldn't answer anyone, I will have to give it some more thought.
