We owe the civilization we have reached today to the products of thinking minds. We owe it to those who know how to think about the point of technology, culture and art, who work, who produce innovations for humanity and science. In short, THINKING...

Scientific thought is the basis of the level of civilization achieved by humanity in the last two centuries and the steps to establish dominance over the outside world. Scientific thinking, on the other hand, is realized by method, logic, observation and experiment.

However, it is also a fact that we cannot act with scientific thought in every aspect of life. In our daily work, personal planning, and social life, we have to come to a conclusion with the methods of reasoning, thinking, and comparing the relations and information between the mind and the subject, which I call "PRACTICAL THINKING".

To think is to use an independent, impartial, unique mind apart from sensations and impressions. The effort to determine the images and what will happen with the mind through symbols in order to know in advance the effects of the relations and behavior patterns of people with others and their natural environment is thought. We have to think correctly in order to act well, establish healthy relationships and lead a peaceful life.

However, in social life, people are not encouraged to think, especially to think critically. Those who manage the established order and supporters are afraid of people who think. These concepts are not foreign to our society.

It is conditioned to be a leader only in vital actions, with the suggestion of "the small one is the bigger one". “What is it, you are pensive, are you sick?” then the idea of ​​thinking equals being sick is popularized. Doesn't the saying "Keep your feet warm, cool your head... Don't think so deep" shows that thinking is equivalent to crazy or cold!?.

These are the external barriers. Based on Einstein's saying, "It is harder to break a prejudice than an atom," we cannot avoid the fact that internal barriers also distort correct thinking.

1-A person who does not renew his knowledge and himself cannot achieve modern thinking.

2-A person who has laziness in thinking thinks but cannot get to the core of the subject. There are those who do the work done with the body "half-way" or "sloppy", and there are those who do the thinking in a short time with a hasty or narrow understanding.

3-People who have a mixed emotional world, who have been hit hard on the way of life and who have lost hope, cannot think correctly. Their inner world, the imbalance in their emotions is also an obstacle.

4- The education we receive, our intentions, our perspective on events, and our interests can "cloak our eyes" in the face of problems and realities. Our perception of the outside world or the view of the world may be blurred. In order to make these images clear, it is necessary to read a lot, talk to intelligent people, discuss, learn the art of thought.

5-If our thoughts are not expressed with sound or text, they will not contribute to culture. Words are essential. The human mind is a small universe (micro-universe). The relationship between it and the outer world (macro universe) must be established with the right words. Thus, the formation of small or large confusions such as disagreements, conflicts, misunderstandings can be prevented. Reconciliation can be achieved and communication can be established if the words we use are understood not only by us, but also by the other person and if they have the same meaning.

6-Those who follow any leader without thinking with the practice of “followed by the mind” cannot think correctly.

7- Those who do not question life, issues and events and do not consult them have less chance of thinking correctly.

8-Today's civilized people, while planning, make decisions by looking at their surroundings, the people they can take as an example, by sampling and thinking, as well as their personal truths.

The success goal of people in consumer societies is to reach financial opportunities in a short time. Visual and written media work so much that success is determined by materiality and social status, that people's brains are loaded with earning a lot. This is a trap for right thinking. Successful people are the first example to be taken while making a work program, choosing a target, and making plans and projects.

9-Human life is getting harder and faster, and there is a confusion of technological innovations. It is natural for us to make mistakes in our thoughts with the logic of "There is no servant without fault". Sometimes we cannot draw a picture of the whole environment and conditions with an objective eye, we cannot evaluate it. Therefore, as the ancients put it, we must leave the "door of consideration" open. We must be open to listening to new ideas and alternatives, rethinking and drawing conclusions.
