Our World Is Running Out of Patience
It seems that climate change comes first. Already in the information obtained from scientific sources, the determinations of some scientists are mentioned; According to one researcher, carbon dioxide emissions have reached 400 parts per million this year as a result of the greenhouse effect. This is the highest figure in the last three million years!
The scientific world is warning us. It sheds light on how the future will be, or rather, it will not be very heartwarming. In one of my articles, I put forward my thoughts and theses by touching on the subject, “New concepts such as sustainable development, economic development, sustainable ecological structuring are on our agenda. I am blending and integrating all these concepts, bringing the question 'Is the world sustainable?' to the agenda.
We consume more than nature offers, we destroy natural resource stocks. As a result, although all these concepts are expressed with the definition of 'sustainable', it WILL NOT BE SUSTAINABLE. Because nature and the world are running out. I liken the way we handle nature, the way we use it, our rapid consumption, to a tiny snowball that we roll from the top of Everest. TOP is the consumption mentality of the years we live in. As it rolls, it will grow, as it grows, it will swallow everything before it,” I wrote, and continued, “Is the end of the world and civilizations coming? The answer to the question is YES, if we continue to cut the branch we are on in this way. The answer to the question is YES, if we do not stretch our feet according to our quilt or do not know our place while taking advantage of nature," I said, and listed "YES" in a negative sense.
I regret to see today that nothing has changed. It is said that “consumption is freedom”. “Consume!. Use brand products, you will prove your personality and you will be more successful in socializing! it is called. “The more you consume, the higher your personality will be, the more you will be recognized!” perception is presented to humanity from all four sides.
We have to say STOP to this trend, this madness. Before it's too late!. Because time passes quickly.
I especially recommend that our young people think carefully about such thought patterns and indoctrination elements and weigh them on the scales of their minds. At every opportunity I get, in my social relations, television talks, writings, conversations, I try to bring the subject to the agenda and keep it on the agenda without getting tired of it.
In order to put an end to the consumption frenzy, the primary problem of the world and Turkey is the protection of nature. Protecting nature means protecting our future, our children and even our grandchildren. Now more than ever, we have to take the warnings of science and scientists seriously. It is a duty of humanity to love our world and nature, and to strive to struggle with the harm done to it and those who do it.
We should know very well that science warns us to realize the facts. The future is still in our hands. In the light of what we will or cannot do, we will either exist together or perish together!..
