*opens a marijuana* I've been up 12 hours now, that's long enough to wait. So I took me a big ol' hit from the bong and now I'll kick back and finish watching the remake of the classic movie 'True Grit'. Wednesday afternoon, over the hump and beginning the long slide to the weekend.

How can you concentrate on a movie while high?
Back when I was in IT, I was an application programmer. I used a language called COBOL, which resembled the English language. But the hardcore techie guys worked in something called assembler, which was basically a symbolic representation of machine language, (commands coded in binary). When pushed, many of them admitted to coding while high, as it helped them fixate on the intricacies of the language. Which may explain why so much software has such seemingly idiotic “features”.
I didn't know they remade "True Grit". I looked it up and it's pretty good cast! Jeff Bridges is pretty good at playing grubby characters.
If I were asked which movie I thought was better, I wouldn’t be able to decide. I might have to give the nod to the first one, because, you know, John Wayne, but I’ll be damned if Jeff Bridges didn’t give him a run for the money. Either movie is well worth the time spent watching it, IMHO.
