Been meaning to buy a blood pressure cuff for a few months so I could check my BP at home but kept forgetting, finally got it today. The new meds must be working because my last visit to the doctor (before she gave me a new prescription) my BP was 154/73, today (11 days later) it is 130/73.

Well, I've been looking at the screen and wanting to make some Noise for about 4 hours now but it has been really quiet here. Scar's been out most of the time, Petey has a sore front paw and has been curled up sleeping, and poor 'moci has a cold and has been trying to sleep but keeps sneezing and snorting (and just like she doesn't have a loud voice, she has these dainty little sneezes).

I'm getting too old for this crap. Went to the grocery store, came home, got out of the truck with groceries in one hand, keys in the other, headed for the back door and as I went to the back porch my feet went out from under me in the mud and I landed HARD on my right side. So ol' P.T. has discovered a hiding spot in one of two bedrooms of the house. And he has evidently found a REALLY good one because I can't find it. I thought I had figured it out, but when I checked, nope, he wasn't there. And I honestly CANNOT for the life of me figure out where it is. I'm not sure if this female cardinal realized how close Death was to her this morning as she rested on my front porch. She had not one, but TWO cats walk right past her without them noticing her. If they haven't been so intent on entering and exiting the house as I opened the door to get this photo, she would have become someone's lunch. 13 days ago I ordered two different albums. One order was placed in California (2200 miles/3540.5 kilometers from me) and the other in Tennessee (270 miles/434.5 kilometers from me). Somehow, they both arrived on the same day regardless of the distance involved, so this afternoon I've had two new albums to spin: System of a Down - 'Mezmerize' & System of a Down - 'Hypnotize' (the 4th and 5th albums respectively)

Normally I shut myself down after two mugs of coughee, but once every other month or so I end up in a situation that calls for three of them---today would be a three-mug day.
