#vinylrecords #vinyl #records #vinyljunkie #VanHalen Van Halen - Balance (1995) The final studio album with lead singer Sammy Hagar (Sammy was vocalist on 4 albums during the 'Sam Halen' era of the band). I bought this used for about $127 USD after debating it for several months (actually a few years)---I did not want to pay that kind of cash for a used album, but I used to own it and it is my favorite release with Sammy singing. So I finally said screw it and got it. And glad I bought it when I did---used copies are now selling in the $400.00+ range after the death of Eddie Van Halen. A #1 album on the charts, 3x platinum (over 3 million copies sold in the US), and my favorite Sammy-era song , 'Don't Tell Me (What Love Can Do)'. Side one - 1. "The Seventh Seal" 2. "Can't Stop Lovin' You" 3. "Don't Tell Me (What Love Can Do)" 4. "Amsterdam" 5. "Big Fat Money" 6. "Doin' Time" (instrumental) Side 2- 1. "Aftershock" 2. "Strung Out" 3. "Not Enough" 4. "Take Me Back (Deja Vu)" 5. "Feelin'" Don't Tell Me (What Love Can Do) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXbL-qQKv9c

Great album! ๐ "Can't stop loving you" and "Don't Tell me what love can do" are my favorites from this album. (There are too much love in the tracks ๐ค hahaha ๐) I never thought vinyl records would be that expensive on these days. I mean, those from legendary rock albums like this. ๐ฎ
Don't Tell Me (What Love Can Do) and Can't Stop Lovin' You are good songs.
My younger brother was a big Van Halen fan. I never really listened to them that much, despite everyone prattling on and on about how great a guitarist Eddie was. I did briefly work with a guy who kept complaining about how the brothers screwed over Sammy Hagar, so I guess there was some drama there?
