Saturday morning, the 22nd day of the 1st month of the 3rd year of The Plague. The Squirrels are enjoying breakfast out at the Squirrel Tree™ in the front yard. They do not seem to be too concerned about any plague or about the extinction of humanity. I guess they don't realize corn doesn't just grow on trees all by itself...

Ha! I would bet most mammals, except for a few highly domesticated ones, are conspiring amongst themselves as to how best facilitate the spread of this new disease, and rid the world of the human menace once and for all.
