Life is a home, but at some point, it feels more like a hell. We see things like a mess, we throw our lives like a trash. But, have you ever thought of someone who dreamed to have a life like you keep on complaining about? We keep on screaming for things that we aren't able to reach; all humans have their untold history, most of us have our own unhealed stories and the ones who need help the most, couldn't be able to shout because nobody dares to listen.
Dozen of street scavengers were featured, told stories were just a shattered and lost chapter, we can see are the scars but not the reason behind everything, it's in their eyes, open yours to what's inside. One lives in a cemetery, in a mountain of garbage, down in a bridge, others have no certain place to be called home; they aren't sure if they do have a life to live with.
Good thing, someone said that thing, I could never imagine Him staying but then I just realized God is always within our hearts. with God, everything is possible. It is just us who think that experiencing histories they've made is still unsympathetic happening to undergo with— we pity them, and felt sorry for every suffering, but instead of actions, everything tends to be an unworked plans. Desires for them ended up only just a desire.
The revision of local last supper was painted by Joey Velasco. He was once proud of a guy who featured Sudan with his heartfelt photograph. But, beyond that happening, Kevin Carter committed suicide and remains unsaved. Despite the fact that he was a multi awardee, he still sees himself as nothing. "Sana Hindi ako humantong sa ganoon." Joey mouthed.
Unfortunately, Joey died because of a kidney failure— nobody could ever determine the fate. All I can remember is the moment he told everyone that Nene, Joyce, Tinay, Itok, Emong, Onse, Buknoy, Michael, Dodoy, Jun, Rosell and Sudan were the street scavengers who painted destination and path through his life. And now, for us, Joey Velasco is one of the reasons that we have to create a path not just for ourselves but especially for those who are being lost.
At times you surprise me with what you write. You deserve a thumbs up for this and I really hope more will appreciate it.
Good luck 👍🍀
