Do humans have the power to move a mountain on his own?

When something impossible is expected, people often say that you must move the mountain first before it becomes possible. But what if I say there is a man who actually moved a mountain through his bare hands and simple, handy tools?

People who need motivation may certainly get motivated by knowing this story. This story may touch your heart. It may open up our eyes that no matter how things seem impossible, there will always be miracles.

This is an ordinary man's story, and his love for his wife originally kindled the fire within him to create a road in a mountain.

This history was made by an Indian Farmer named Dasrath Manjhi. It was 61 years ago when he initiated out to cut a 1mk-long path into a rugged hillside, all by himself, to do it more comfortable for his fellow villagers to reach schools, markets, and neighboring villagers.

But what is the reason why he has decided to do it?

Faguni Devi, his wife, and he really love each other. But one unfortunate day, his wife was accidentally harmed severely while traversing the hill to take him water while working then on a farm over the mountains. After the accident, she fell sick and eventually died because she could not be brought to the nearest hospital, which is about 70 kilometers away in time.

From that moment, his world shattered. His love for his wife was the original sparkle that kindled in him the urge to scrape out a road, not just for that reason, but also for the whole community. Because for him, he would not like viewing something like what had happened to his wife to happen again.

According to him, the people there have requested the government several times to create a decent road through the hill, but no one returned any notice. So he has decided to do it all by himself.

He used chisel, hammer, and shovel in cutting down the mountains. Those people who were passing by thought he was mad at first. They laugh at him as if he was crazy for doing such an arduous task. But as time passed, people noticed his determination, and some lend help by giving him food and buying him tools. After triumphantly doing it, all the Gaya district people have nothing but grace and full-heartedly appreciation for the "mountain man" who single-handedly shaped their lives so much more comfortable.

After working the road unceasingly for 22 lengthy years, he carved a hundred and ten meters long and nine and one-tenth-meter wide road through the mountain. He was able to reduce his village's distance from the most proximate town by more than 40 kilometers. His undertaking had helped his critics, including his derogators. The route was named after him - Dasrath Manjhi path in his greatness. Yes, it took him 22 years to accomplish his self-determined task, which yielded him eternal recognition.

From this story, we discover that we can accomplish anything in life if we want it and enthusiastic about putting in the hard work. Like what he said:

"What I did is there for everyone to see. When God is with you, nothing can stop you."

No matter how hard it, no matter how far it is, as long as you have faith, perseverance, and hard work, just like what Dasrath Manjhi has done, you can also fulfill and reach your goals.
