BCH Weekly News #93 (August 15, 2022)

Content creators are increasingly applying self-censorship for fear of losing sponsors or otherwise being demonetized. The Podcash app has been specifically designed to overcome this by giving podcast owners the ability to monetize their shows in a decentralized, permission-less way through Bitcoin Cash (BCH). The player in the app allows listeners to support your podcast by streaming BCH, ideal for long format podcasts, or sending Boosts (a one-time donation) directly to your BCH wallet.

General Protocols continues their video series with a new episode. The focus of this video installment is about Flipstarter and includes a companion Read.Cash article.

BCH adoption super star Sunny has tweeted a tease on twitter about a BCH conference to take place November 12th and 13th 2022 in St. Kitts. Details were not released at the time of publishing, but more information was promised to be coming on August 15th.

The Bi-Weekly BCH Twitter Space Hangout hosted by Fiendish Crypto successfully ran a flipstarter campaign for 1BCH to cover the costs associated with spreading it across all major platforms.

Version 0.9.0 of Paytaca wallet app is now available. The homepage has been redesigned to make it more clear that they are focused on Bitcoin Cash and it's tokens. They have also added a new app for sweeping BCH and tokens from a given private key.

Bitcoin Cash has been added to the FCF PAY network. Users can now pay any merchant on the network with BCH as well.
