  • Bitcoin cash merchant onboarding powerhouse, Sunny, once again adds immense value to the ecosystem by hosting a merchant onboarding event in Mumbai, India on May 29th where over 200 merchants attended. The purpose of the event was to help business owners familiarize themselves with BCH and over 100 merchants committed to accepting BCH at their businesses.

  • The team at Bitcoin Verde have once again published an update detailing the scaling test work that they are conducting. The tests are being conducted to determine where future issues may arise in scaling at both the hardware and software level.

  • A new block explorer for smartBCH is now live at smartbit.cash based on Blockscout. Most basic functionality is operational but it should still be considered as incomplete.

  • Bitcoin Cash power user wallet, Electron Cash has gotten another upgrade. Now at version 4.2.10, this upgrade is a maintenance release, removing dead code and other bug fixes.

A new article published on Nasdaq.com asks the question: "Bitcoin vs. Bitcoin Cash: What’s the Difference and Which Is Better?" The article has a very fair summary of the block wars and ends with: "Bitcoin cash, on the other hand, is relatively unknown outside of cryptocurrency circles, yet it remains the better option for near-instant transactions, especially for smaller amounts."

  • Paytaca, a Bitcoin Cash and smartBCH wallet, had their recent Flipstarter crowdfunding campaign success covered in Philippine news media. The article goes into details about the wallet itself and also gives some details about Flipstarter as well.
