Robinhood, a stock and cryptocurrency trading platform, announced the launch of its cryptocurrency wallet. Starting next month, the first customers will begin testing crypto wallets and Robinhood will continue to roll out access to more and more customers through the waitlist. Robinhood says the built-in wallet will support authentication, email verification and other security features. The company did not specify which tokens the digital wallet would support, but the app currently provides commission-free trading for BTC, ETH, LTC, BCH, BSV, DOGE, and ETC.

The People's Bank of China issued a Q&A statement on preventing cryptocurrency risk. It said all forms of cryptocurrency transactions were illegal and should be banned. Offshore providers of crypto services to Chinese citizens are also in violation of the law. Other contents in the statement are mostly the same as the one issued in 2017, but added the derivatives part.
