  • Sydney-based crypto spending app CryptoSpend announced that Visa has approved the issuance of a physical debit card that will allow Australians to spend their cryptocurrencies at local merchants. CryptoSpend has its own app with a built-in wallet, and currently supports cryptocurrencies including BCH, ETH, XRP, BTC, and LTC.

  • Eligma became a finalist at the Emerging Payments Awards – in the Best Use of Crypto in the Financial Services category. The Emerging Payments Award is an award set by the Emerging Payments Association (EPA). The well-known GoCrypto is a payment solution by Eligma that enables merchants to accept cryptocurrencies. Currently available in 64 countries, GoCrypto is enabling shoppers to pay with 7 different cryptocurrencies: BTC, ETH, BCH, LTC, XTZ, VIB, and GoC.

  • Florida-based Veryeasyhydroponics.com now accepts crypto payments, including BCH. Users can get all of their hydroponic gardening training and systems with cryptocurrency.

  • BitcoinCash Nigeria onboarded 7 new local BCH businesses in the last week. According to Bitcoin.com Maps, there are more than 20 businesses in Nigeria that accept BCH payments.

  • BCH.games was started small with two simple games Dice and Target months ago. But now BCH.games has added a number of new games to the website, such as Crash, Mines, and many new features, such as 2-factor verification, tutorials, Sounds, FAQ, and more.

  • Payments giant Paypal has increased its weekly purchase limit for cryptocurrencies to 100,000 USD and has removed the annual limit of 50,000 USD. Paypal said, “These changes will enable our customers to have more choice and flexibility in purchasing cryptocurrency on our platform.” Currently, Paypal supports BTC, BCH, ETH, and LTC, and the minimum crypto purchase is still 1 USD.

  • Jajaa, ambassador and community leader at Satoshi’s Angels in Thailand, tweeted that the covid situation in Thailand, specifically in Bangkok is not going well, meetups and all gatherings are not allowed. Due to the new restrictions, BCH meetups in Bangkok and in some other areas are joining the global virtual meetups.
