Understanding "love"
Some music are so refreshing, so soothing that our feets move automatically according to its tunes. I was actually hearing a movie song of our local Tamil language, the reason why I mentioned about this. A pleasant one, so melodious slow song about love being the essence and essential of life.
I was watching a regional language film. A beautiful love story. A one sided love story till the end. It also enlightens the relationship of a grandfather and an youngster grandson. The grandson is so attached to his grandfather that he expressess all his flaws and expects a solution. They are more like friends.
The heroine here likes her friend very much from childhood, but when she understands the hero respects her only a s a friend she silently withdraws.
Family values are given more importance. Here the hero and heroine are living in the same building but different apartment. Though both of them are very close nothing like love erupts between them until the end of the movie. Several times the hero falls for other beautiful girls and the person guiding him is the heroine.
But nothing works out. And after two days the hero forgets about it. He is a delivery boy for a food company and she a software professional. The hero's friend, philosopher and guide is the heroine. Nothings works out without her.
The grandpa ignites a spark in the heros mind - why not go for a girl who cares him rather than he cares her. And he can never find a better girl than the heroine. When he refuses saying, "I can never consider her as my better half" the reply from Grandpa was "start considering from now". After few days of consideration he proposes her but she refuses.
Feeling shameful to meet her after this incident he avoids her and this hurts her. So she decides to move to Canada when she gets a lucrative job offer. Once she moves to Canada, both of them understood the intensity of love for eachother. And finally decided to tie a knot.
So if you need to understand the real meaning of love one has to stay away from other for atleasr few days or months.
Life is more smooth and love is beautiful when you marry a person who loves you rather than you love. Such relationships carry on for years by the term called "Understanding eachother".
In my view point in any relationship we have to open up our mind. It is the only way you get to know better eachother. There are peoples who take advantage of love and squeeze the opposite sex financially. Here value of money or respect is the main factor.
Unconditional love makes some people blind. They forget family, friends and relatives. And finally to realise this they have to experience something worse.
One-sided love is too complicated especially when that someone finally have the courage to let go. So sad for the person who truly love.
