Technology wins over interaction There was a say "***talk less, work more".*** But now there is a correction "**talk less, be on mobile more".** This change happened all of a sudden globally, not in a particular place. Technology has grown so fast, **where nobody has a tine to say a "hi" or a "bye"** to your friends or family members. It's a known fact that being under one roof, what is happening within the family is not being aware among eachother. As everybody carries a mobile with net connection, important messages are also being communicated to any single member of the family or in the family group via messages. Though the advancement of Technology has to certain extent brought great positive changes, simultaneously the disadvantages increased from the personal aspect of a human being. The communication has reduced finally within family members. When the verbal communication reduced between two persons, people are not prepared to open up with their personal and mental problems resulting in severe health issues, increase in suicide rates, peoples ending up in mental asylum etc. Recently in news was the increase in death ratea among adolescents by playing blue whale game via online. The game links peoples from different countries to play online finally resulting to end up their life. This was the speciality of this game. Few school children from my place where targets of this online game resulting in suicide. It was so touching. Because these children excelled very well academically. The parents were at a great loss. Infact, a 11th grade student before committing suicide, wrote a suicide note, mentioning her parent not to purchase mobile for her sister who is in 9th grade. So that she migjt face the same consequences as her. Technology has grown so fast, that this girl was mostly confined to her room with no interaction with her parents, always saying she had online class. And the parent did not want to disturb the girl as she was a smart student who topped her exams with high marks. But lately they found the girl was a little disturbed and locked herself more time in her room. So her parents persuaded her to spent more time with them rather than mobile. But she stopped communicating and was nervous to tell her supportive parents about the gaming issue. The final solution she found for this was suicide. Another incident was the suicide of a school boy, studying in 8th grade, which took place three months ago. It was an online lottery game where he lost with his opponent and happen to withdraw a ransom account without his parents knowledge. As a parent please take the responsibility of checking your kids from time to time. Because the covid time period seems to give more space and provisions for our coming up generation to get involved in unnecessary tasks without parents knowledge. **Few tips to engage your child.** Make it a point to sent him/her out for playing with friends, once he reaches from school. Do not force the child to study When he shows interest in any other activities other than mobile encourage and be supportive. Create hobbies, which keeps them busy. Let them interact with friends more, rather than mobiles. Some parents are choosy about their child's friends. Please never do that.
