Is humane attitude still in us!!

It is three days since I made a patient visit to read.cash site. Though I was peeping in then and there. I had some guest's and kept them occupied. Nice to have friemdly chat once a while. Refreshing indeed.

Recently in the local news was stories related to humane and inhumane attitudes of closed ones. I would like to narrate few stories.

On one hand a teacher took a primary student of her class to her home, as the parents of the little boy was hospitalized and nobody to take care of the little boy. The teacher took legal permission from the child helpline centers to keep him until his parents are discharged from the hospital.

How could we not appreciate this teacher who did her duty on humanitarian grounds. Generous attitude of such teachers should be recognized in the community and rewarded. Such teacher is the one who brings the best in a student and such students are the one who forms a better society to their nation.

There was another such incident. A lady salesgirl working in a renowned jewellery shop named Alukkas was on her way to the shop in the early morning hours. Suddenly, she noticed an old man running after a public transport bus which was about to leave the bus station.

She ran as faster as she could to stop the bus. Not for her but for the poor old man who could have missed the bus if she had not arrived on time. The shop named Alukkas has branches all over middle east. The owners are from our native. This whole incident was caught in the CCTV and was viral in all televion channels.

It striked the owners of the Alukkas jewellery who started enquiring about her details. Her famiy comprises of her in-laws, husband and two children. They are in the process of building a house (with a heavy loan ) which was already under construction.

As a token of gift, the owners gave her a new house on humanitarian ground. It wss s big celebration for both the owner and the staff.

Now if you see the flip side of inhumane act. Yesterday their was a trending news in which the old aged parents were abandoned in the hosital. The story goes this way. Old parents were brought to the hospital by their son. On the pretext of meeting the doctor for their ailment and later abandoned them in the hospital premises.

The police have registered a case against the skn for his irresponsible behavior and inhumane act towards his parents.

As a simple human being just imagjne what thoughts would have gone through those helpless parents at that moment. They spent all their health and earnings to bring up the children and in return they were rewarded with what?
