If you clean your house is to please people and live a healthy life. The house consist of the inner and the outer, the inner is clean to please those that are living inside and vice versa.
A man is like an house, the inner is where God lives if you allow him, for those who has given their life to Christ. If you heart is always clean, then we are pleasing God but if we are MORE concern about letting our body cleaner, (those who prefer being pleasant in man or woman's eyes), we are pleasing mere men.
