Premature Marriage
Premature marriage means early marriage. If a girl is married off before attaining physical and mental maturity. It is regarded as premature marriage. In Bangladesh there is a law which forbids the marriage of a girl before the age of eighteen and a boy before the age of twenty one. But many parents do not obey this law regarding marriage. Premature marriage prevails in the rural areas. The illiterate and poor girls are the worst victims of premature marriage. Poverty, Illiteracy and gender discrimination are the main causes of premature marriage. Girls are born to an unwelcome world. The poor parents think that she has come to the world to add to their misery. So, the main concern of the parents is to marry off their daughters. Social insecurity for the girls is also responsible for premature marriage. So, the parents decide to marry off their daughters as early as possible. Premature marriage creates many problems in the society. The premature bride is sometimes tortured. She goes to her husband's family at a tender age. It becomes difficult for her to adjust herself in a new environment. She also becomes mother before attaining maturity. So, she suffers from malnutrition and diseases. It leads to the death of many immature child - bearing mothers. This problem can be solved only through educating the girls. The law against early marriage must be enforced strictly. Knowledge and understanding. Everyone must possess that before entering a battle arena(marriage) . Marriage is no joke, actually I treat it as life and death situation. So we must all know what are the circumstances once we enter that battle. Great article dear❤

The topic and debates on premature marriages should also be raised at international levels. Its a sad truth that unlike child marriages, these aren't given any importance. Even though some aren't even able to stop child marriages.
Yeah. It's increase day by day. Recently, in my native village, there is a childhood marriage. But I couldn't do anything. When my family goes to interrupt, they treat us badly.

Nicely written 👌👍. It is our duty to stop this social disease. But good news is government recently took steps to prevent and successfully reduced the rate of child marriage dramatically. Social awareness program of both Government and non-government organisation is truely remarkable. And also literature individuals should also come forward to stop this . Since uneducation is the root reason to this problem we should take steps to spread literacy.

This is really true when a person marries at a young age they will probably cause a lot of trouble not just in society but also to themselves. When a person is not yet mature we are often confused about what we really want, how we portray ourselves that is why this will cause more trouble to the couple because they aren't even sure if they are ready for marriage much more in taking responsibilities when they become a parent.
Actually they can't know about their responsibility. They are child, they want to play, want to go to school /college. They aren't able to get a child and grow up him/her.
Premature marriage is also an effect for the early pregnancy. Teens who are not aware of the serious responsibility of having a child in early age would bring them up to premature marriage. That's why, this will lead to poverty and more crimes.
You are right. Girls are not aware about their pregnancy when they were married in early age. Then when this girl will pregnant, her life will be risk.

Yes, there's a law about this. But no one obeys this law & also government don't take strict steps against it. But hopeful that it will be slove very early.
