The mystery of the Bermuda triangle finally solved?

The Bermuda triangle is a mythical section of the Atlantic ocean roughly bounded by Miami,Bermuda and Puerto Rico where dozens of ships and aeroplanes have disappeared. Unexplained circumstances surround some of these accidents, including one in which pilots of a squadron of US navy bombers became disorientated while crossing the area.,the planes were never found.other boats and planes have seemingly vanished in good weather without even radioing distress messages. But although myriad fanciful theories have been proposed regarding the Bermuda triangle, none of them could prove that mysterious disappearance occurs more frequently there than in other well travelled sections of the ocean.

The area is otherwise referred to as "the devil's triangle ".It covers 500,000 square miles of ocean floor. When Christopher Columbus sailed through the area on his first voyage to the new world, he reported that a great flame of fire crashed into the ocean that night and a strange light appeared at the distance a few weeks later. He also wrote about erratic compass readings.on March 1918,the USS cyclops,a 542 long navy cargo ship with over 300 men onboard and about 10,000 tons of manganese ore disappeared in the area.It never sent distress calls even though it was equipped to do so.An extensive search found no wreckage.In 1941,two of the cyclops sister ships also vanished at the same area without any sign of wreckage.

In 1945,five navy bombers carrying 14 men took off from port Lauder dale ,Florida, airfield in order to practice bombing runs over some nearby shoals. But with his compass apparently malfunctioning ,the leader of the mission known as flight 19 ,got severely lost.All five planes flew aimlessly until they run out of fuel and were forced to ditch at sea.That same day, a rescue plane and its 13 men also disappeared.

After massive weeks-long searched failed to turn up any evidence. Well,some people have attributed the accidents to aliens.others also say the lost city of Atlantis is responsible.sea monsters, time warps and reverse gravity fields were also said to be causes.More scientific theories point to magnetic anomalies and huge sprouts of methane gas from the ocean floor.In all probability however, there is no single theory to explain the mystery. More scientists are putting in great effort to come out with the correct explanation for these disappearances

It still remains one of the "haunted " places on earth,sometimes considered as the most dangerous.
