When hearing the word cheese, many would say that it's bad and can make you fat because when consumed too much, that's what it does. However, if you eat Cheese moderately, you'll come to realize that there's a good reason why you should consider having Cheese when you can.

1. It prevents Osteoporosis

To understand what Osteoporosis is, you have to understand why we drank milk and had vitamin D from our meals. It's simply because it helps to keep our bones strong but the problem is that strengthing the bones already happens during childhood and adolescence to the point that it stops once you get older.

When that happens, your bones begin to get weaker over time and can potentially be affected by a disease called Osteoporosis which basically can cause your bones to get exposed to more fractures, get porous bones, and can make them more fragile.

Now where do you suppose Cheese comes in? It has high level of Calcium, Vitamin D, and protein which are needed for your body. So if you don't want to look like your granny, have some Cheese!

2. It can bring positive effect for your dental health

According to studies, It can basically be one of the ways to make your teeth in tip-top shape and avoid them from decay. This doesn't necessarily mean you should avoid going to your dentist however! It just means that like milk, it makes your teeth strong or in good shape at least.

3. It helps to gain weight...in a good way

Now obviously, this isn't for you if you are not in good shape. So you have to think of this from a different perspective. Let's say you're underweight instead. What would you do to get the right weight needed for your body? Junk obviously isn't going to help because that'll just make you overweight!

So what would you need to gain weight the right way? Well, you eat Cheese, that's what! And it's not junk as the previous two points I've mentioned prove that. And this isn't just for you but for actors, athletes and many others who want to have that right kind of weight as well.

So if you feel you are underweight, a bit of cheese could fix that for you.

4. Its the best dietary source for Calcium

As stated in the first point, it's very rich in Calcium. And you need Calcium to maintain your bones. Sure, there are others like milk to help your bones but it's not as rich as cheese is. So if you want calcium, cheese is your best bet!

5. It's a great source for Protein

Again, cheese is rich in protein too which is needed for your body for like a lot of things such as strong fluid intake to the body, good immune system, and healthy hair. So if you want all of those which make your body in good condition, get some cheese!

6. It's high in Vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 is a pretty powerful Vitamin as it helps in the production of red blood cells, DNA, Protein, and best of all, promotes various mental health problems. Why without it, you could get some long term cases like neurological damage!

There's just one catch though... it's only in animal products and other supplements. Luckily, cheese happens to be in your favor for that, and types like Swiss cheese have that in plenty. So another good reason to have cheese

7. It can reverse hypertension by lowering blood pressure

According to studies, cheese can help reverse hypertension by lowering blood pressure. And we know what hypertension can end up being, don't we?

8. It provides essential fat called CLA

Conjugated linoleic acid (aka CLA) is a compound that is found in cheese which can help with the loss of body fat and build lean muscle.

9. It helps prevent common cancers

Cheese like many others helps in preventing cancers. So anything that does that is obviously worth mentioning.

10. It has healthy fats

Just because the word fat is bad for you, doesn't mean that it's bad everywhere else. fats are some of the essentials needed for your body as they stop you from overeating and absorb certain vitamins from what you consume. The cheese has a lot of healthy fats and so its a good choice.

11. It's a good choice for pregnant women

Pregnant women can come across Preeclampsia which is a condition that can cause hypertension to them which can cause problems to the unborn child, including death.

So cheese kinda helps in that thanks to its rich source of calcium.

12. It helps you to build muscle

Again, being rich in protein makes it obvious that it can help build muscles with ease specifically, cottage cheese. Having cheese can help you build those muscles in no time!

13. It benefits the immune system

Immunosenescence basically is a disease for old people and what it does is that it destroys the immune system and causes other deadly diseases to cause problems.

Cheese might help in fixing that according to studies.

14. It has plenty of Vitamin K2

As if B12 and CLA weren't enough, Cheese is rich in vitamin K2, not K1 which does different tasks. K2 helps in dental health and makes your skin and bones healthier...and prevents dementia in the elderly by promoting healthy brain functions!

15. It's good for your Thyroid health

Now you may not see Thyroid as much as everything else in your body because it's around your neck. But trust me, if you don't treat it well, it can be problematic as the hormones it often produces are nearly important for the rest of your body and an imbalance of that can cause disorders.

A thyroid disorder can have symptoms like fatigue, weight gain, anxiety, insomnia, and rapid weight loss.

Having cheese can fix that problem and can maintain that thyroid of yours!

And that's all the health benefits of cheese folks. As long as you take it in moderation, you'll be in good shape.
