What's Getting Better: Technology or Human Generation?
As decades pass by, there were so many things that have been gone.
There are matters that keep changing,
And values that we keep losing.
Yet they say it's to make a balance.
"We are doing better each day. "
"We are getting nearer to perfection. "
"We are going to live a better and easier life. "
They say as many sacrifices were laid down the path.
But are we really getting better?
Is the Human Race getting better?
Getting better with what?
We're getting better by means of physical appearances.
"Oh! Hi there. You are looking prettier today. "
"Thanks! I am using new cosmetics now."
Then going back to the question, "Is Human Race really getting better?"
Or is it only the technology that we have right now?
This might confused you if you haven't figured out the "behind the scenes" of every product!
How do they make such cosmetics?
Of course, using new technology! Then, SALUTE to our technology.
But before you can applied that cosmetics, have you ever thought where did they tried to applied it on? Of course you haven't or did you?
Then let me tell you--they applied in on innocent animals! Making experimental mistakes over hundred times and causing its death!
Another thing, many countries have now developed new weapons. And what are they for?
Probably for wars!
Then when war breaks out then are we getting better?
There were over millions of wasted building and other material things, but the grievous part is losing our own kind despite of different nationality.
Thousands lost their lives in an instant,
Young children became orphan.
And another grievous lost that what we have inside--LOVE and VALUE towards life.
Dear friend, we are not getting better!
We are changing a little by little in a way that some can no longer be called as human!
We keep advancing in terms of technology but we forgot to bring our values and love as we go higher.
Getting better is not a mistake, but let us be mindful on how we approach betterment.
I am happy that somehow we find our ways to make our lives easier through technology innovation; yet we're going on the wrong path now. This awareness haven't been shared to many and why?--Because they are one of those getting benefits.
