I honestly can not think of any great advantage to using Coinbase other then EarnDrops. Customer Service at Coinbase in my opinion is rather shifty on whether or not the will actually get a response.

I opened a ticket about a month ago now, just a simple inquiry and haven't received a response other than the confirmation that they received my inquiry. I guess this could be blamed on Covid-19 with Customer Service being over loaded with request.

I can honestly say that over the years I have earned $100's of dollars in crypto from these EarnDrops which most of them take less then five minutes to complete and they pay out instantly to your account. You can instantly covert it to another currency, deposit it into your checking account or send it to another wallet/exchange.

The Coinbase fee is not too terrible compared to competitors in the market. I am not fond of fees when trading is involved but I understand the necessity of having fees.

My Final Thoughts

You will hear me say this over and over again through out my blogging journey. Free Crypto is always the best Crypto because of the zero risk concept involved. You did not pay anything for the Crypto. You may have spent a few minutes of time signing up answering some questions but over the course of the next three years you will make 100's of dollars of free crypto if you check your emails regularly, or just the site.

I think we have better options currently available for trading and hodling our crypto then Coinbase. However Coinbase is still a great utility to make some extra cash and serves as a means for converting crypto into FIAT when needed.

Coinbase is also working towards releasing a debit card that will be directly linked to your crypto wallets. I believe the pilot program is underway but they are waiting to take it world wide. I haven't heard any recent updates.
