AN ADVICE TO MY SISTER'S in (islam)
Some ladies today says "I want a guy who has a car, a guy a has a flat or mansion, I need a guy who's dark and tall else I won't marry him."
Really! So you want a guy to have all this things before you marry him? Do you have range rover yourself? Do you have a mansion? Do you have all these things that you're requesting from the guy?
Please let's appreciate all the things that Allaah blesses us with, because if we don't but keep on demanding all this things, you'll keep on eating rice every weekend at your friends weddings till you die and I don't want you to live a miserable live that's why I'm sharing this to you
What we should look for in a guy in islam is TAQWAH, MANNERS, CHARACTER, HOW RELIGIOUS a guy is among others and not material things.
May Allaah increase us in Iman (faith), guide us to His right path and grant all singles pious spouses. Aameen.
Seven things you must avoid in your waleematu-nikkah. Wedding
1⃣ (WASTAGE)
You want people to eat Amala,iyan,fufu, porridge,kebsha, Chinese rice,hmmm!!Sha don't do israaf(wastage) Allah doesn't like us to be wasting something especially foods
eat and drink but waste not by extravagance, certainly He (Allah) likes not Al-Musrifun (those who waste by extravagance).
Surah Al-Araf, Verse 31:
2⃣ (WEDDING PICTURE)
Must you show the world u have a beautiful spouse?Or u think keeping the wedding pictures to keep memory alive is a nice and dandy idea? Picture this hadith in your mind first,
I'm! not saying that we shouldn't take a picture but we should not let it expose so we take good care of that
The most severely punished people on the Day of Resurrection would
be the image-makers. [Bukhaari and Muslim]
3⃣ (MUSIC)
Planning on playing and inviting DJ or musicians to entertain your guests with Islamic Music? Think twice. Islam has no music.
“Among my ummah there will certainly be people who permit zinaa, (prostitute)
silk, alcohol (Narrated by al-Bukhaari)
4⃣ (LOOKING NICE)
Looking good on the day of your nikkah (WEDDING) is a good idea,but if you must make up,then use niqob
And stay in your houses, and do not display yourselves like that of the times of ignorance,
Surah Al-Ahzab, Verse 33:
5⃣ (INVITING ONLY THE RICH)
This will make your nikkah food to be the worst ever,because the needy people (poor) are prevented from it
You don't know what can be the source of answering those prayers you have been longed for, it will be good to help those in need
, “The worst food is the food of a wedding banquet in
which the rich are invited but the poor are left out.”

6⃣ (SHOW OFF)
My nikkah must be the talk of the town,it must have no similitude!!! That's riyaau(show-off),why not do it to please the lord of the world?
ﺗAllah the Exalted will say
to them (who show off), on the Day of Resurrection when
the people are being rewarded for their deeds: Go to those
whom you wished to show off in the world and look for
your reward with them.” (Musnad Ahmad Hadith 23119)
Imitating the kuffar
ْWhoever imitates a
Don't ever try to be someone else always be your self that's how you can take Control of what may come to your way
people is one of them.’” (Narrated by Abu Dawood, hasan sahih)
May Allah Grant us proper understanding.
Don't forget to pray for those that have married and those on preparation in your prayer please.
