Am recently free from the terminal exams of second semester of M.Phil Botany. But I didn't share with you that in the mid-term exams I was failed in one subject that is Ornamental Horticulture which is very easy and interesting subject but still I was getting failed in it.

It's doesn't mean am very poor student that all time doing blunder in the study field lol. Let's look back in the few months back that which things become the reason of failure in mid term exams.

Four to five months back it was the mid of April 2022 when our second semester classes started and at that time our holy month Ramadan was going on. With the fasting it's difficult to engulf all the lectures.

Means I started the second semester in the full lazy mood and pending all things after the Eid-ul-Fitr. But the month of May I again spent in the fun activities with friends and finally mid-term exams reached in the hotest month June, when we faced the biggest problem of light.

But anyhow in the first exams of mid-term I had two holidays and I did the good preparation for it because its the paper of my favourite subject "Applied Ethnobotany" and I got the good marks in it (26/30).

The next paper of "Ornamental Horticulture", I had no holiday in it and I returned back in home after 6:00pm feeling so tired because of hot weather. After returning back in home I just laid down on bed and I have no energy to study anything and at exact 8:15 pm the light was getting off and then I start waiting for light that light come and I sleep again 🤣.

At exact 10:15 pm the light came and I gone to sleep with the dream of woking up at 1:00am and then start studying. But my bad luck I woke up in 6:00 am but I have believe on myself that I solved the paper easily because the Ornamental Horticulture subject is not the big deal.

Oh my ghosh paper was totally different from my expectations sir asked the functions of different hormones which i never study in"Ornamental Horticulture" and different kind of terminology which first time I seen there. Because in ornamental horticulture my mind was just rotating around "Olericulture, Pomology, Floriculture and Landscaping" . But I said to myself Arooj Calm down you will solve all the paper easily.

But my bad luck.......Sir said to us I think I don't need to waste my time in the duty of exams. You students will solve your exam honestly and I did my other work on laptop and sir sit on the chair next to me and start creating disturbance all around me because he is too much talkative and also his moto child was with him and my all concentration getting diverted to sir and his child activities 🤣.

Then after a while sir called his research students of M.Phil for discussion and then the Mam who's doing P.H.D and Sir was her supervisor. Means in the whole paper my all concentration was first on:

• Sir and his Moto child activity.

• Then I enjoyed the insult of my seniors 😁, because of incompletion of their thesis work.

• Then listened the gossip of Sir and Mam.

I didn't know what I wrote in the paper and when the result announced I got the 16 marks out of 40.

But I never cried after seeing this marks because only 6 students are passed in the mid-term exams and remaining whole class was failed. Also sir gave us motivation it's okay if you're failed work hard and I believe you compensate it. Also checking our papers was fun activity because sir made different types of Cartoon on the pages where we used our own philosophy and also give appreciating words where our concept was right.

Anyhow sir gave us the punishment of doing homework on daily basis and then submitted to him on next days. Yeah in the M.Phil. daily we did the homework like a child and then submitted to the Sir.

And finally Sir efforts and our hardwork was never wasted and today our terminal marks was uploaded and Alahamdulilah I got the highest marks 44/50. Finally now am feeling that my second semester of M.Phil was completed.

Closing Thoughts:

If you are student and reading my article I advised you to give proper time your study. If you are university student then at least dedicate your weekend to the study and you will get the good grade. And if during the exam you faced the situation like me then ask your teacher please changed my seat of sitting am getting disturbed here and inshallah you will never be fail.
