From the beginning of the world there have been wonderful things. From ancient times till today people have been making a list of these wonderful things. We all know the historical wonders of Babylon's hanging gardens, the temple of Artemis, the statue of the Greek god Zeus at Olympia, the lighthouse of Alexandria, the Great Pyramid, and so on. These lists were published in ancient times. It is said that Herodotus, the father of history, and Callimacos, the sage, made the list. But adequate evidence was not found. Then in 2007 (07.08.08) a new list of Seven Wonders was published. The new list is subject to a vote of more than 100 million people. Voting began in 2000 with about 200 monuments, and the results were announced on July 7, 2006 in Lisbon. Let's take a look at who got a place in the Seven Wonders in this new list in detail:

1. The Great wall of China:

Its length is 21,196 km. It is the largest man-made wall.

2. Christ the Redeemer Statue:

Located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1931, this statue is the second wonder of the world. The 130-foot-tall statue was designed by Hittor da Silva Costa and cost about 250,000 to build. Most of this money is raised through donations.
