An Open Letter to all Parents.

Many parents today have become promoters of Zinah through their disobedience or lack of Islamic Laws.

Islam permits all matured being to get married at the appropriate time in order to avoid Fornication or Adultery but today reverse is the case. When u propose to most of the ladies of our generation today, some will tell you my parents want me to have my B.SC and M.SC before I get married.

Some will tell you am too young for that matrimonial duties and obligations.

Some tells you, you ain't rich, come for me when you have a giant building in Dubai, Lekki and good cars, etc.

We parents, are these excuses part of Law guiding Nikkah?

The answer is NO, because Islam is a simple religion.

Many relationship have been destroyed by strict laws laid by parents. Some parents tell their child(ren) not to marry some tribes. Some tells them to impregnate their wives before bringing her home, Subhanallah is this what Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) left for you and I.

Some tells their daughters to request for large Sadaaq(Bride Price) from their husbands, forgetting the Prophet word" The smaller your bride price, the bigger your Barka".

Some parents request for things in which the husband cannot afford. Things like 1trailer of yam tubers, 2 tipper of fruits, etc.

Were you asked to buy all these during your own time? Definitely No, why making life difficult for others.

Now, ask yourself am I a true Ummah of Prophet Muhammad(SAW)? If yes make marriage affordable for your son in-law and if no, prepare yourself for Allah's Judgement.

Let's all work towards this so that our children won't do what they are suupose to do in their matrimonial home in our homes, streets, bar and all other indecent places.
