For a Muslim,there exists no intermediary between him and Allah, for Allah is closer to us,even than our jugular vein. He is with us all the time,24 hours a day,seven days a week,52 weeks a year. In fact He is with us every second of our earthly existence.
There is therefore no reason why we cannot ask Him for assistance or requests on a constant basis. We should develop a habit of conversing with Him on a regular basis as if we see Him. Although we cannot see Him physically, we should always feel Him and believe He is with us, and that He has the power and compassion to grant our requests.
When you have challenges and need Allah's intervention, all you have to do is spread your prayer mat,perform ablution and go to Him in prayer with firm faith. You do not need to travel to the beach for any spiritual bath or go to any mountain. Right there in your room or the nearest mosque, supplicate to Allah. He is not a distant God. He is Allah, ever so close,ever so present.
If Allah is so willing on His part to answer our prayers and grant our requests, we should also on our part be willing to obey Him.

JazakaAllah. Great post. Also we feel comfort in a heart after offering daily five times prayer with full concentration towards it and reciting the Holy Quran on daily basis. Allah Almighty is so close to us. He helps us in every difficult situations.
