There was a castle with towers that seemed to be kissing the sky, made out of pure gold with a tint of crystal that shone with every touch of the sun. Every single tiny diamond at the top of the castle shimmered and reflected the light, like a crown on a proud King’s head. The golden gate castle was being guarded by troops of guards patrolling around all four walls of the castle, preventing any foreign invasions. This amazing piece of art called Vlads Castle is ruled by the cold-hearted King Rexies Knight. The powerful King looked only twenty-five years old but in reality: he is a hundred years old. He didn’t know what love is. The only emotions he was capable of were pure rage and anger. Ladies desire him, but at the same time, they were afraid of his stone-cold heart.
The King had a dream about a girl who was being tortures by some kind of Tremendous Vampires and the girl is asking for his help. But he didn’t make any move and he felt a twitched in his heart. He cannot stand seeing the girl hopelessly crying and pain may see in her face. And then, the girl stabbed in her heart and that was the time the King wake up, confuse about what his dream is all about. He heard some knocks on the door and a guard came up and told the King that someone is waiting for him in the guest room.
The King walked through the many halls to see the awaiting guest; a witch named Marisa.
“Your Highness, I made my way here early as I can, I am here for matters pertaining to the orders you’ve given me. I was told to inform you of any threats to the kingdom and I’m afraid this is just a storm passing by, your grace.” She said all in one breath.
“I don’t like riddles, just get to the point.” The King said.
“I’ve come across a prophecy, my King. A human will be the cause of your destruction. She will be the cause of your destruction and the fall of your kingdom. Loving her is forbidden.” The King laughed on what Marisa said.
Marisa resumed what she was saying “It is not just an empty threat, my lord. It has been one of the very few to only be projected through a witch’s vision. It is deadly. A prophecy so powerful is never wrong.”
The King remember the girl in his dream earlier. He asked Marisa about it and Marisa’s eyes suddenly glowing purple. “She was your cure and you were her disease. She was saving you, and you were killing her.”
“What do you mean by that?” the King asked.
But Marisa didn’t answer it because even her didn’t know what is the meaning of her vision. There was a girl who believed that Vampires are real. Actually, she’s obsessed in vampires. She’s keeping on making research about vampires but all of the information she gained doesn’t satisfy her. She wants to meet a real vampire. She wants to ask them, what kind of life they have, do they really drink blood of human to survive? There is so many questions in her head. She needs answers. She badly needs it; her name is Scarlet Jade Smith.
One Friday night, she decided to make an oration on how she could turn into a vampire. It’s hilarious but there’s no wrong in trying. They were dressed funny like how the guards in the princess movies dressed. One of the guards grabbed her and started leading her towards the main door of her house. She kicked and screamed but they didn’t let her go. She looked back and heard her dad yell out as someone plunged a knife into his chest. She felt tears running down her checks and falling on her lips, making her taste the saltiness. “Who are these people?” One word comes out from her mouth “Vampires”.

A heavy weight was holding Scarlet as she tried to move, half sleep. After some failed attempts, she gave up and decided to finally open her eyes and find out what’s causing her distress. The first thing her eyes came across was the white ceiling with the beautiful swirly, golden patterns. Something was breathing on her neck, or rather, someone. She looked at the man beside her, peacefully sleeping. The man who saved her. She lifted her head off the bead and tried to sit up but the strong arm wrapped around her waist prevented her to even move a muscle. Scarlet glanced at his face but her eyes stayed there as she noticed his now wide-awake ones. Their eyes were locked for a split second and before she could comprehend the King sat up.
“Are you okay? Did you get hurt?” the King sked Scarlet.
Scarlet just smiled and shocked her head. “Thank you for saving me from those bad people. May I know your name and, where am I?” Scarlet asked.
“They are not people. They are the Tremendous Vampires. We are vampires. I am the King of this Kingdom. I am King Rexies Knight. You’re here in Vlads Castle.” the King said all in one breath.
“You are a vampire too. So, it means you’re just like the vampires who kidnapped me and killed my father.” Scarlet said.
“No. Don’t think about me like that, love. We’re different.” King said.
“Why are you keeping on calling me love?” Scarlet asked.
“Because you are my mate and my soon to be Queen.” the King answered with a big smile to his face. The stone-hearted King just smiled because of a human girl.
“Will you be my Queen Scarlet Jade Smith?” the King asked Scarlet. Scarlet still shocked but she just nodded. The first time Scarlet laid her eyes to the King, she felt a weird feeling. There’s a butter flies in her stomach and her heart beats fast.
The Prophecy is not wrong because if the King didn’t save Scarlet from the Tremendous Vampires. Scarlet will be gone and the King will undergo a big depression if he lost his mate, the one that he loves. It can affect him so he cannot do his responsibility as a King of his Kingdom and it could be the cause of it’s fall. But the King didn’t let it happen. The Moon can prove that the love of Scarlet and Rexies for each other is genuine and last until eternity.
