When you're at ayoung age, what was your work, hobby? Did your mother/parents letting you to do some stuff or the assigned task? Did you obey with them and finished the task given to you?

At my young Age

Well, me, with my siblings we need to obey them. And it's automatically registered in our mind that, that was our obligation being a son or daughter. And that is also under the 10 commandments, if I'm not mistaken. To obey your parents.

My task at a young age was to keep all our mattresses/blankets/pillows. We're slept altogether (side by side) in a wooden floor and a sharing of blankets as well. Before sleeping, we had singing contest, we were singing one by one and sometimes,we're all sung together. We love each other, no bullying and no one of us in our family member knows those bad words, in which now adays children use it as their expressions language.

We were happy those days. Not knowing all the problems on earth, for being ignorance as a children and don't know some news if what will happen. Coz aside from being far apart in the city, we don't have radio. So we don't have any news of what's goin on in our neighborhood, countryside or outside in our country.

School Life

In the morning, our alarm clock is the noise of our roosters. Everyday, I woke up in between rooster's crowed o(from fighting rooster of my father). It means it's already four o'clock in the morning. So, waking up and preparing our meal and baon to school. We have to take a look with the sun rise, and that was our clock that time. In every hour we put a sign from the shadows of the mountain against the sun and marked it, so by looking at it we can now distinguised if what time is it already.

I graduated in highschool of not having any clock and even radio in our home. So that's our technique to predict the time. By looking at the sun or by its shadows from mountains and trees, we've got an accurate time. And we're walking to school for almost an hour. Our way is in the middle of farms of our neighboor. Sometimes, our uniforms were wet because of those fogs or coz of the long and giants weeds wet leaves touching into our clothes. So we need to have extra dress.

Labor day

Week ends was our labor day. Now adays, Labor day is holiday and no work. In my young age, it was our busiest days. Every week ends we were going to the farm, to pull the weeds to clean our planting corns. Corn is important to us, it is our basic needs, the cereal of it we ate as our foods. If here in cities, rice is common but in our community corn is our everydays meal. But sometimes we planted upland rice also, and in our neighborhood too, but it's rare seasons only because the rice plants is needed more attention and there are a lot of processes compared when you were planted corn.If we said rice, that automatically hurts our pocket, then some will called you, ohh you're rich. Only will to do person can afford that rice in our homeland wayback 1990's.

Harvesting Time

When we sow that corn kernels , after 3-4 months it is the harvesting time. If our crops failed due to lack of fertilizer, then we have a low buget meal before next harvest comes. So we'll wait for the invitation of our neighborhood to help them in harvesting their crops. To add more a little bit reservation for the consumption of the whole family before the next harvesting seasons come. . So there, we helped to harvest their corn. They were given us our share for helping them. We need more stock of corns at home to sustain our daily meal. Everyday we were grinding it in a manual grinder made in wood/tree or in a stone. We used our bare hands to grind corns. Grinder made in a wood is much lighter than made from a stone, but more white cereal compared to that wooden grinder.

Corn grits or cereal is more important to us than viands, as long as we have salts, then everything was solved. We have a lot of vegetables in our farm and other crops too. Like sweet potatoes, cassava, taro and many more. That crops were also replaced of the corn as our heavy meals. And we sometimes sustained even of lack of corn supply by the help of those crops.

New Generation

Now adays base in my observation, mostly all of the children had their own phone. They were in different social platforms, in gaming platform too. You can't even command them or punish just like striking them of some hard things if they will not obey you. Because it is against the law, and you will be filed subjected as child abuse case. But still we have the right to make our children to be a better version person. We still have the right to punish them in case if they don't follow us or had mistaken something into in a right concepts or in a right way. Mobile legend is now the game of most teenagers. And it's really evolving world. A lot of new things happened, lot of traffic in social medias by Video, game streaming , vlogging and blogging ,photography and a lot more of today's kids were busy at.

Lessons:

The lessons I learned from my past is not to give up easily, inspite of current hardships situition. And I'm grateful with my parents for leading us that way. And besides, that's all they can offer to us.And It made us all hardworking person and being a good and responsible one in our society. We never claimed that our parents abused us, but that was the nicest way of training on how to lead us into our future lives.
