Nelson Mandela and our leaders

Nelson Mandela is one of the people of the world who has become history and this history will live forever. Who were they, where they were born, how childhood and youth passed away, how they were in jail for 27 years and how they led the people of South Africa by coming out of jail, and how they liberated the country from the 350-year-old rule of the British?

How did he become the first black president of South Africa and then how did he, while in the presidency, include the oppressed and withered nation among the great nations of the world? All these facts are now available to the whole world, so there is no point in telling and repeating them.' Everything has now been documented, but despite these documents, some aspects of Nelson Mandela's life still have not come to the world and I will put three of these dozens of aspects before you today.

The first aspect was that Mandela was sworn in as the President of South Africa on May 10, 1994. He got up the next morning wearing 'jaguars', opened the gate of the Presidency, and started jogging on the streets. After a short distance, he felt someone running after him. When he stopped and looked back, his security staff was also running after him wearing jaguars. Mandela was surprised. Asked, 'Are you guys jogging too,' he gasped and said, 'Yes, no, sir, we are running after you to protect you.' Mandela laughed and replied, "This is my country and my people. What danger can I face from them? You go back, 'I'll wake up and come back,' but the staff refused to go back.

There was a brief debate and then it was decided that only two security personnel would jog with him and they would also be athletes so that they could be exercised along with duty. The arrangement lasted for five years. Nelson Mandela's presidential term ended in 1999 and he not only refused to take extensions but also retired from politics. The government provided him with lifelong protocol and security as Father of Nation and former President, but Mandela refused, saying,' What danger could I have from my people'' the other side of his caste was that he continued to live as an ordinary citizen after retirement.

He shifted from Cape Town to Johannesburg and spent most of his time between his village of Keonu (Qunu) and Johannesburg. He roamed alone in the city, was similar to people, and ran away. 'Most of his time was spent reading and writing.' Whenever the government asked him about security protocols or necessities of life, he had the same answer. "Thank you, If I need anything, I'll tell you," he said, while also campaigning against HIV.

The book 'Loneliness' continued till 2005 until Nelson Mandela announced one day "I'm retiring from retirement") He announced "Don't call me I'll call you (you don't call me") and then he appeared at every international forum. Nelson Mandela also lectured at universities. He also met and addressed UN sessions. Nelson Mandela's tenure continued until December 25, 2013, and was the third surprising aspect of his life. He is one of the few people in the world who retired from retirement.

He was also a man, and this same world walked and breathed on the same land, and the people, as well as the whole world, respected him. Why? There were three reasons: 'First, his forty years of continuous democratic struggle, and the second reason he did not stick to power.' He could have been president for life. He would give himself an extension. 'Who could stop him, but he once became president', completed his term, and separated himself from the chair forever for which he was in jail for 27 years. If he had not shown this high visibility and preferred the chair over honor, the time would not have been far when the slogans of Go Mandela Go would have been raised in South Africa and the police and army would have been forced to charge tear gas and sticks to protect them from the people, and the third reason was that Nelson Mandela refused to be a burden on the nation after retirement.

And he didn't follow protocol. He started living a normal and simple retired life. He wore normal cheap pants and a shirt and lived in the house normally. His cheap c-shirt later became known all over the world as the Mandela shirt. 'Suppose' He would have respected himself even after retirement if he considered himself president and took to the streets with full protocol! Would people have liked them? No way.

We now come to Pakistan from South Africa' Justice Gulzar Hussain retired in February 2022 after being chief justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan for two years and a month. Four days before Justice Gulzar Hussain's retirement, the Registrar's Office wrote to the Ministry of Home Affairs requesting that Justice Gulzar Hussain be given the security of the Chief Justice even after retirement. The retired Chief Justice also requested the Rangers' security squad while traveling for himself and his family. And the government accepted the request and thus justice Gulzar Hussain will now be given the same security and protocol as the Chief Justice.

I am surprised That Justice Gulzar Hussain needs security in his own country after retirement! They are free from government job captivity. Now they go to markets, parks, streets, and markets, meet friends, enjoy tea, coffee, and food in coffee shops and restaurants, and stand in queues and enjoy a normal and free life. People will certainly go ahead and kiss their hands.

They will bow down and salute them and salute their just golden age. It seems strange why they don't want to enjoy these salutes and salutes. Why do they still want to live a prisoner's life? I don't understand this. I can't even understand why every powerful person in the country is imprisoned at home after retirement.

Why doesn't it pay fees to the public, why doesn't it appear in the public, why does it need security whenever it comes out, and why does it feel insecure in its own country even after retirement?' 'I'm unable to understand this. 'It's not like there's nothing but a chair in their lives and they've sat in a chair. Have you given people nothing but pain and suffering? Make a decision yourself.

I like two most leaders of the era one is Nelson's Mandela and second Martin Luther king from Africa both raised voice for their nation. It is strange for me to see Chief justice required security and protocol even after retirement. It is ridiculously defaming demand.
