IMO the star needs to be clearly different compared to the comments and the views button, otherwise, I feel users will have a bad time figuring out how to save an article

Maybe we can keep the star where it is then add a save button by the title.

We thought about it, but frankly it doesn't really feel like it belongs there in the title.. I don't know. Let's just try this. The interface is getting crowded already :)

If you have any specific recommendations - please do tell.

Other than that, Google is very picky these days and doesn't trust any sites under a year or so, unless they are very-very popular for some reason. Our site is 52 days old. It's hard to expect miracles from Google. It'll take time.. The basics are mostly there - titles, H1, H2 tags, etc..
