Better main page **EDIT 7 Dec 2019**: The home page was updated once again thanks to the constructive criticism by @jsmith_dev on Reddit. https://read.cash/@jsmith_dev https://old.reddit.com/r/readcash/comments/e77ytw/new_ui_eeeek/ The new and (hopefully) improved home page is up and topics pages are also updated. This improves discoverability quite a lot.
If your article has a nearly gray image - that's the default thumbnail that uses some word in the title and unsplash.com. **If you want a better image** - just add it as the first image in the article (anywhere, it doesn't have to be at the start). In a few days we'll add "Lead image" feature which will allow you to upload an image specifically for the thumbnail. One small note - if the image is too white - we'll darken it a bit so it'll look better on the main page. Have fun!

I have just noticed it 20 seconds before you annoced it. Its beautiful. Great work!
Thanks! We'll definitely work on improving it. But currently it's much more interesting than the plain one without any images.
Seconding/thirding the others -- looks great!
Awesome! But you have to scroll very long to see the comments (I'm using Android). A link would be helpful.
That's a good thought. Previously we've had a link to the comments. We need to think where to put it. At the very least we can of course put it under the article title on the article page, but I'm not sure if we have space on the main/topic pages - the block is already quite full.
This solution is pretty good. https://www.welt.de/politik/ausland/article204086034/US-Wahlkampf-Joe-Biden-tickt-aus-als-Waehler-ihm-Korruption-vorwirft.html
Oh, you mean this scrolling thingy on the left? Yeah, we might do something like this. Thanks!

Oh, I'm on a desktop, so it looks like this https://imgur.com/a/bWBxZ1g
As a temporary solution - we've added a link to comments under the title.
Great! I was waiting for this feature ^^
The "more articles" section must be now shorter in order to shorten the area the articles ocuppy before the comments
Hmmm.. are you on a mobile? It doesn't take that much space on the desktop, but if you're on a mobile - yep, you have a point.
Yup, I browse and comment mostly with my phone, just use desktop to write whole posts
It should be now a bit more tolerable on mobiles. We'll continue to improve it later.
It is! Great job! ^^
Just woke up, walked my dog and then I sat at my computer and checked how did it look now on desktop... It's amazing!
Awesome! 👍
Have just noticed it right now. Hope to see read.cash becoming a better platform for publishers and readers
