Effects of too much screen time in kids.

In new generation kids are more addictive to digital screens and now a days kids mostly stay at homes so they're using it more which is harmful for them and its lead to severe problems.

As an adults we all know the consequences of too much screen time but kids don't know much about this so it's parents responsibility to manage their kid's screen time.

For project I have study various researches regarding this topic so I tried to sum up all things which I learnt from there.

Problems regarding too much screen time.

Mental problems.

Kids who spent excessive time on digital screens have more chances of sleep disturbance, anxiety and stress.

Physical problems.

More usage of screen time increase the chances of thumb, hand, back and neck pain. It can even cause ADHD.

Risk of brain cancer.

I read various researches regarding this but in conclusion its not confirm yet but still researchers says kids should avoid screens as much as possible because screen emits electromagnetic radiations which can increase risk of brain cancer.

Impact on vision.

The screen emits blue light which is really harmful for our eyes and they can even damage the cornea.

Lacking on academic level.

The more kids use screen the more they addicted to it and because of this often kids are lacking in their academic achievements.

Reaction problems.

Kids who spend more time with screen have more chances of social, emotional and irritation problems.

Suggestions to limit kids screen time.

Time management.

It doesn't matter your kid use screen for study purpose or for enjoyment, you should manage your kid's screen time.

Avoid screen in bed time and meal time.

It's parents responsibility that their kids don't use screen in bed time and meal time because it will damage their vision, physical and Mental health.

Co watch.

Co watch if possible because through this you'll realise how much your kid is using screen and how much your kid should use.

Limit your own screen time.

Kid always copy their parents and surrounding so you should avoid screen so your kid will also avoid screen.

Emphasize healthy nutrition.

For your kid's growth, physical and mental health you should adopt healthy lifestyle as part of your daily routine and avoid screen as much as possible.
