Barcelona's weakest area is the full-backs, yet they are doing nothing to improve it. The reason Suarez starts because he makes the right runs & connects well with Messi. It's the president's fault for signing players for there names. Griezmann isn’t going to play in his regular position here at Barca cause of that Messi position. The club can select the players that it can still make use of as super subs (e.g. Suarez and Busquets) and lower their wages through various means. Getting the best of both worlds is always an option.
Ansu it's also a left-winger who can play as 9 or 'false 9', just like Depay. They are not the same player but if I have to choose between them I prefer Depay not coming, and they already have a lot of options on the front; Messi, Trincao, Pedri, Ansu, Griezmann, Dembele, Coutinho, Braithwaite it's enough. Ansu has shown he’s more than good enough. Why depend on a player who they don’t know will fit in Barca. Depay is good but Ansu is the future and he’s already proven his worth
Bench Griezman if he's not playing good and play Messi as false number 9 with Dembele and Fati one the right and left side. Since Suarez came to Barça Messi to switch back to the right to give him a position after Pep, Tito, Martino use him there( CF). Griezman to fight for the game time no matter the price tag. Messi at false number is the most lethal player you'll ever see.
Why do they need a midfielder? They have got de jong, Puig, pjanic, busi, alena, fernandes, pedri, coutinho. What they really need are fullbacks and a center-back, their defense sucks and that's why they always fall flat on the big stage.
