The Place Where My Heart Belongs…
There are certain places where you go for the first time in life and suddenly you feel like you are at home. I feel like vibes match and you don’t feel like a stranger! Then there are some places where you spend your entire life and you never get used to them. You always feel like you are being singled out, like you don’t belong there. Your vibe doesn’t match with vibe of that place. It’s something that I don’t understand, but it happens. It might be because of the people that surround you. For instance, if you are surrounded by good and kind people somewhere you will always end up feeling good and as a result you will like everything about that place. Similarly, if you are surrounded by negative people and their negative vibes, you won’t be able to adjust in that place.
Speaking of such places where I always feel at home, one of them is my aunt’s place. It was two years backs when I first visited her, and I had this good energy inside me as soon as I entered that area. It’s not about their particular house, it’s about that entire area that makes me wanna stay there.
Since that day, I always go there whenever I am depressed. As God has kept comfort for humans in small things like rain, nature etc, the similar level of comfort comes my way when I am there. I along with my mother, my cousin and one of my aunts go there often on weekends and spend a day or two there.
So last weekend I visited my aunt again. We usually try to go there early to spend as much time there as we can. On a lighter note, certain things have become sort of a tradition for us while we are there. For instance, doing some photography, going to market and watching movie late night followed by gossips.
So after reaching there last Saturday, first of all we greeted my aunt, my uncle and my cousin. Then we were served with tea along with chicken pakora and donuts (it has kind of become a tradition). My aunt makes the best donuts, the recipe of which I have shared already with you guys. After this, my mom and my aunts decided to go to a market which goes by the name “Tarnol”. As they were gone, me and my cousin prepared food for dinner. My mom really likes that market and when she is asked what is so special about that market? She says that the items there are really cheap. There is a train track there so she loves to watch train passing by the most.
Anyways, after my mom and aunts returned home. Now it was our turn to go to market. Let me tell you guys while I am there I go to market no matter what. But the market I go is not Tarnol. It is at walking distance. I love to watch sunset there. We bought some cold coffee and fries and ate all the way home. There is a mart there which goes by the name “HM” I love that mart and the instant I step foot there I rush towards the stationary side and buy my self beautiful pencils, diaries etc.
When we reached home it was dark outside and time to have our dinner. One thing which I like the most when I am there is that we all sit together to eat and meanwhile we gossip. I feel like that’s the quality time we spend together there. After having dinner it was time to have another round of tea. I made tea and served it. Everyone enjoyed and praised the tea.
Now, it was time to watch a horror movie with family. After spending alot of time thinking which movie to watch, we finally decided to go for “Drag me to hell”. Let me tell you guys it was not horror at all. But the time we spent together watching movie was memorable. After the movie was over, we started gossiping about demons and told each other real life incidents that we ever encountered in our lives.
After these talks, we all got really tired, now it was time to sleep and to relieve our fatigued muscles.
So this is how I spent my day there and I totally enjoyed it.
