You can't win all the time.
"No matter how much you try, you can not win all the time my friend, just find a way to accept the truth and move on ok!" This was the last statement he dropped in my ear as he ended the conversation with me on the phone and dropped the call.
I don't want to start narrating the ordeal that transpired before the conversation I had with my boss on the phone, rather I want to use his last statement to pass a strong message to everyone of us reading this article right now.
Most people in this life have this natural belief that to lose over something or anything they place their mind to achieve is a curse that must not be seen around them, they do all within their power to get win in any thing they put their mind to achieve, and if they notice that you are not winning or succeeding in what ever thing you want to achieve, they detach themselves away from you and refuse to have anything to do with you. Yes it's true, and we always meet and see these kind of persons around us in our different life struggles, at our various local areas, work places, business meeting points, in our various gatherings, etc.
Do you really believe it's your right to always win in every thing you do?
Do you actually think and believe that only those that don't take serious with their lives and with what they do are said to be losers?
Do you also believe that winning always has something to do with your religion and your relationship with your God that you worship?
If you must know my dear friend reading this article right now, there is no person in this world that has the monopoly power to be winning all the time, in otherwords, it's not in your power to determine your winning moments, whether you are very good, professional or an expert at what you are doing or not, whether you are so religious or not, or anything at all does not qualify you to have the opportunity to be winning in any thing you place your mind to achieve.
You have every power and right to make decisions and choices of what and how you want to live your life, you also have the ability to make corrections and try to adjust your steps in other to attain a greater hight you so desire, but the ability to determine that moment in your life where you achieve winning is never in your hand to decide, instead it's in the hand of fate to decide who wins or lose.
For instance, In a football match competition where two teams are playing to win, the both teams may have worked so hard day and night to train and exercise their players, putting all the necessary steps, decisions and choices so as to make their team stronger, fit and have the better chance to win in the football match competition, when the two teams are in the field of play, the teams play with zeal and determination at each other, fighting all they could to win their match, you may be surprised at the end of the whole competition, no body will win even when they have put all needed effort in place. On the other hand, you will also see a stronger team playing with a weaker team and at the end of the football match competition, you will be surprised to see the weaker team winning the stronger team or even holding them at draw score.
When such happens, it's all shows that winning is never in anybody's hand to decide but fate. You may work so hard and put all the arsenals together during the time of preparation and still not win your battle. So you see my friend, the choices and decisions we make can not be acknowledged and anchored upon as the reason for our winning. I repeat my friend, you can't win all the time in life, you win today and lose tomorrow, it's part of what builds a man (human beings).
You have to learn to accept what fate brings to your door steps and understand that no matter what we do in life, winning and losing are the two strong tools of learning that builds a man in life.
Accept it today that you can't win all the time.
