THE LAW OF WASTED EFFORT

I have actually thought about this particular topic for many times in my moment of sober reflections, I have looked so worried because of the challenges that come so close to man every moment he tries to make a difference or find a positive result but fails to achieve that.

This feeling of pain comes when we have put all our hopes, dreams and expectations towards achieving success and along the line all our efforts turns out to be unfruitful. At that moment of our failure, we begin to regret, hate ourselves and feel abandoned and rejected. We feel as if the entire world has collapsed on top of us and we wish for the ground to open so we can be swallowed and disappear.

Sometimes after the dashed hopes and dreams, we find ourselves in that surroundings of not trying again, we give up easily and accept defeat as our consolations rather than picking up ourselves and trying again.

When all these things are happening to you, have you for one second ask yourself this important question that I am going to ask right now;

Why am I giving up so easily?

If you can be able to ask yourself this question when the chips are down, when you feel the world has left you and when you feel you have failed completely, then know it that you have actually made a positive step to giving yourself a second chance to succeed and win.

Let me give you an important information that will surely help you to stand even it seems over in your life. Make sure you understand this and know where you can help yourself to succeed again. Do you really know that most lions only succeed in a quarter of their hunting attempts, which means they fail in 75% of their attempts and succeed in only 25% of them?

Despite this small percentage shared by most predators, they don't despair in their pursuit and hunting attempts.

The main reason for this is not because of hunger as some might think but it is the understanding of the “Law of Wasted Efforts” that has been instinctively built into animals, a law in which nature is governed.

Half of the eggs of fish are eaten, half of the baby bears die before puberty, most of the world's rains fall in oceans and most of the seeds of trees are eaten by birds.

Scientists have found that animals, trees, and other forces of nature are more receptive to the law of "wasted efforts".

Only humans think that the lack of success in a few attempts is a failure, but the truth is that: we only fail when we "stop trying".

Success is not to have a life free of pitfalls and falls, but success is to walk over your mistakes and go beyond every stage where your efforts were wasted looking forward to the next stage.

If there is a word that summarizes this world, it will simply be: "continue all over again". Never stop at any stage of difficulty. Keep moving, keep thinking, keep by trying. And above all, keep praying.

If you’re having difficulties with anything your hand finds to do out there, try and reach out to people around you and who knows who will be of good help to you. Don't shy away and keep dwelling in your failure and self pity for falling.
