The heart of giving the world needs.

"We rise by helping others. If you're in a position to help just do it. It won't cause you anything".

I will like to start my article with this word in my first paragraph to pass this amazing message to you today.

I know most of you have been feeling so entitled by the way you give to people and feel it's your right to receive and command respect from people you show hand of fellowship and assistance. Some also have seen it as a major way of getting people's attention to instill fear in them and for them to treat them the way they feel like without questions.

I have been wondering why most people feel that way when they render assistance to people they find better off.

Must you use your chance of assisting people that you are better off to showcase your superiority over them?

Do you feel that the reason you actually give to people you are better off is because you are able to make the fortune by your own making instead of God?

I feel this is the time we all should try our best to  understand the meaning of giving and the importance of giving most especially to those you are better off and also to those that you feel are better than you. Yes, to give does not only stop at the doors of the people you are better off, you can extend further to the doors of people that are better than you.

No matter the type of people you may encounter in life, the ability to give should not be seen on the bases of you being at the better side more than the receiver, rather it's should be based on the individual who is doing the giving. In otherwords, when you want to give, do not look at the person you are giving to or the receiver, rather you should be looking at your heart at which you are offering the arms giving and arms of fellowship. This is very important to note because some people in life who give thinking that they are actually doing a great deal of help and assistance ends up not receiving the blessings that may come to them as a result of their action just because of the nature of their heart intentions while offering the assistance.

What most people have failed to understand is this, when giving with a good heart, you may not want to put your mind towards the attitude and character the person you are giving is portraying even after giving to the person, all you are after is the good feelings you have in you, the joy that comes after giving to someone whether you are better than the person or not, all that borders you is to make sure you do a good deed to that person that is seeking your assistance, or to that person you feel like to give something to.

What the world need today is not the type of giving that will be tagged with something in return, rather it's a type of giving that will surely make your neighbor to see through you that unconditional love, support and togetherness as people who have the same goal and aspirations in life.

The world today need your true sense of humour and love, that type of giving that will be devour of rancour, racism, tribalism, ethnicity differences and many other anti social attitudes we see today in our worlds.

When you give, take it that you are giving yourself that opportunity to make a positive difference In that person's life. Don't feel you are just doing a favour to that person through your arms giving and assistance.

When you give always see it as an opportunity and your personal responsibility you owe to your maker for giving you that opportunity to be at a better position where you can be able to give to others.

Finally when you give to people, see it in your heart as an opportunity that you are truly lifting others who may have lost hope and trust in their very existence and in their creator. If you see giving in this light of truth and try your best to follow this path, surely you are one of the people who will surely receive that reward that comes from God who blesses people who do his words that says "Blessed is the hands that gives than the one that takes".
